Loved the taste! Hate the fact that they have "hidden" trans fats read the label anything hydrogenated can't be good for you. I rather eat a chicken breast.

As someone who is getting in shape and following a nutrition plan, I consider all protein bars including DETOUR "emergency" food. That is, if I MUST eat at the appointed hour according to my nutrition plan, but don't have the proper meal at hand, I prefer to eat one of these. Why? Detour and its sister, Joyride, are the best tasting protein bars I've come across. When it first came out it was the talk of my exercise and nutrition list. I don't think anything better has come along since. However I give it 4 stars not 5 because I believe in eating whole food whenever possible, then protein shakes, and then as a last resort protein bars, with preference given to Detour.
