Very versatile. When I'd rather go straight, I layer this product with a little Moroccan Oil -- it gives a nice amount of volume vs. the usual stick straight/flat hair look with straight hair products.
I like B'Leave In for occasional use. When I use it, I clease with One Condition, and then use B'Leave In as my leave-in conditioner, before adding AnGel. After years of confusion, I've learned that my hair is "protein sensitive", so using protein products every day makes my hair like straw. However, there are times when my hair needs a protein fill to help with texture, in addition to as much moisture as possible. B'Leave In works just right for me, because it's light, and it doesn't stop my hair from getting moisture from products I add over B'Leave In. If your hair is so dry it's breaking, or if it's overprocessed, B'Leave In could be perfect for you.
Use a small amount after washing and conditioning (No Poo and One Condition) - too much coats hair. Apply especially to ends and then work through hair. Really helps tame the fly away frizz of curly hair. I use the Angel curl gel after this - again too much gel coats hair. Work the gel through your hair. Use enough to set the curls and hold them without over using it and leaving your hair too coated and weighted down with too much product.
I bought this product per the recommendation of my hairdresser. She thought that it would work better on my hair than the Set it Free. But I'm not really sure what this product is doing for my hair. It is supposed to provide moisture and be a leave in conditioner but I'm not sure it is doing that. Someone else told me it takes 6mo to get used to Deva line. So, I like the line of Deva products but I am thinking about getting the Heaven in Hair so I can give all the products a try.
After rinsing DevaCurl One Condition from the hair, tilt head forward and gently scrunch hair to remove excess water. Evenly distribute B'Leave-In in both hands. For best results, comb through with your fingers. Follow with AnGel and Set It Free to style the hair.
Tip: For an intensive conditioning treatment, leave DevaCurl One Condition on the hair for 30 minutes before following the above directions.
