The Deva products work very well with my hair, older person with very fine hair that is still curly. Shampoo gentle, gives some body and shine and brings out the curl. Angel gives my hair additional body and strength.

I have been using the DevaCurl products for about a month now. I've found that overall, my hair is healthier, seems thicker, and definitely has more shine as well as being smoother. A hairstylist recommended this to me because I have natural curling at the ends of my hair and that DevaCurl gives more defined curls. I wouldn't say my curls seem any different, but my hair in general looks better. I have fine, dark brown, dry, mid-back length hair for some back-drop. Making the change from sulfate shampoos was definitely a little strange; it takes some getting used to (I do miss having lather, as this has NONE). I feel like I have to use a lot of the product to feel like my hair is getting clean, and then I spend some time rinising it out. After using the 12 fl oz bottle for 1.5 months, I'd say I have half the bottle left. So, a 12 fl oz bottle should last you about 3 months I'd say. When I run out, I am going to try the Wen products to see what I think in comparison.

I had high hopes for this product due to its high price. If anything, it made my already thin hair, flat. I think this must be better for thicker, very curly hair.

I have curly/wavy hair with plenty of frizz. The DevaCurl products have made my curls softer and reduced the frizz a lot. I don't even have to use product after shampooing and conditioning with DevaCurl. If you have curls and frizz, try this product!!

I got hooked on DevaCurl products a number of years ago and never looked back. My hair is moderately curly. The main ingredient in most shampoos is Sodium Laurel Sulfate, which is what makes them lather. This product is very drying, but people think lathering is good. Don't be alarmed when this product doesn't lather much - it's OK. It's still very cleansing without being drying. Use this in combination with the conditioner and gel, and you'll be hooked too. Also, it smells amazing - I don't typically like fruity products, but it's a subtle starfruit and mango.

because there is no harsh sulfates and all that other "gobbledy goop" in this shampoo, it does what it is supposed to do-clean your hair! my hair is not tangled or left feeling stripped at all. DEVA is the bomb!
You dont have to be going naturally curly to use this; works great if you are transitioning from permed to natural/flat ironing. Great all around.

I have very fine, wavy-to-curly hair that I want to curl more, with better definition. Having used Aveda for a long time, I switched to DevaCurl Loo Poo and think it's done wonders for my hair, which seems less dry at the ends and the curls stay together. In particular it has helped with the straight, poofy frizz that happens when the curls lack definition.

The shampoo smells mildly like tropical fruit, which is not great for me, but not bad and doesn't stay on the hair. It does not lather much, but my hair feels clean and may even take longer to feel oily than with my prior shampoo. THE ONLY downside is that the DevaCurl conditioner smells awful, exactly like Windex and suntan lotion. Even though the conditioner's smell doesn't linger in the hair and it works well, I may drop it since it's smells so unpleasant.

this shampoo is great! it smells great, has natural ingred and does not get so soapy that it takes forever to rinse the soap out, yet cleanses very well. i find that the after-shampoo hair products i use work better.

Yes this shampoo is pricey, but worth every dime. I have very curly, long. color treated hair and I have been looking for a shampoo that doesn't dry out my curls and is natural. A high order! I have used just about every natural brand on the market and found this one here, so I decided to try it. It smells great lathers up even tho it is low-poo and rinses clean. My results in my hair have been greatly improved over the other brands I have used, in just a few days. I bought the conditioner and my review will be on that product.
My husband uses this also he has wavy short hair that is thinning a bit, and he too loves this shampoo.
I wish it came in a larger size and I sincerely hope that I will be able to find this produce for years to come.
