Fantastic shampoo. There is no lather which takes some getting used to! I still am not sure how much to use, but my hair is definitely clean. Only con is the strong smell; all other products have a much better smell. I purchased the set of products for my very wavy hair. I color my hair and it has become dry from exercising outside regularly. With use of all the products, my hair is now smooth (frizz is gone), shiny, curls are well defined, healthy and beautiful. I have received compliments lately, and had not received any for a long time. I saw results within a few days of use with the products. I highly recommend!!!

I wash my hair per the instructions on the bottle. No parabens. No sulfates. Perfect for my type of curly hair. Also, this product plays well with a variety of conditioners.

I was ready to put this in my shopping cart when I noticed that there was a disclaimer at the bottom of the description that says "not associated or affiliated with Deva Concepts and are not a licensed retailer of Deva Concepts. Deva Concepts guarantees this product only when sold through authorized retailers, and cannot guarantee the authenticity of any product sold by an unauthorized retailer"I compared the ingredients listed at drugstore.com to the ingredients listed at mydevacurl.com and they are NOT the same. If you're going to pay [$] for a bottle of shampoo, make sure it's the real deal!!!I have not tried the "fake" version so I can't comment on it, but I HAVE tried the real thing and I love it.

I wasn't sure about this product. I'd read about it coming out in "Curly Girl", and it seemed like all the DevaCurl products were going to be a way to maximize profits off the popularity of that book. Well, I'm happy to say that, hands down, this is the best shampoo I have ever used for my curly hair. For the first time I have no frizz whatsoever on the top of my head. All my curls lie soft and bouncy - like something out of a magazine. It's really amazing. I had been using the DevaCurl no fade conditioner with my old trusted botanical shampoo, so I was able to tell whether this shampoo really made a difference by only switching shampoos and keeping the same conditioner. It unequivocally made a difference. The smell is unremarkable - not heavily scented. Just like the name says, it does not lather, but I didn't find that problematic. I shampoo using the method for Botticelli curls outlined in "Curly Girl", putting just a small amount of shampoo on my finger tips then massaging my scalp with it. It works great and will make the bottle last longer. It is a little pricey, but so is my old standby, so I'm willing to pay the price for smooth curls. As for the reviewers who say it left their hair greasy, my guess is they didn't rinse it out completely. Or perhaps they're using too much product. In any event, I had no problem with greasiness, but like I said, I just use a small amount so maybe that's the key. No more frizz for me!

This is, by far, the best system I've ever used to tame my curly hair. The no lather shampoo takes getting used to but it works. I tried this a few years ago but without direction from a hair stylist & didn't like it. This time my new hairdresser showed me how to use the DevaCurl product. The results are amazing!

I use No Poo twice a week, does not strip color from my hair. I tried using less expensive SLS shampoo, but it dried out my hair and left my scalp itching.I have recommended this product to others.

I use the shampoo on my roots and massage it into the scalp and let what runs out when i rinse cleanse the tips.

I dont have to use a detangler after my shower anymore!
