These tablets help a lot when my sugar drops. I just take five tablets and have a snack. The tablets start to raise my sugar level immediately and the snack helps to maintain it. They taste good too.

I use these when I am eating fruit or something sweet -- anything with fructose in it. Fructose goes right through my system to the large intestine, where it ferments into a lot of gas. Having glucose with the fructose allows the fr to "piggyback" onto the gl and be absorbed through the small intestine. Now I can enjoy an apple and not worry (as much) about the consequences! Often 1/4 or 1/2 tablet is all that is needed. If you have trouble with gas after eating sweet things, try glucose. (Also, try rice syrup as a sweetener -- no fructose.)

About the only thing that I wish was different was cost. I have to take this and the price is high since I use about 12 bottles per month.

I've heard a great deal about the glucose tablets so I decided to give it a try. The results were awful. It doesn't help with my low levels at all. I'm better off eating a piece of peppermint or drinking 1/2 a regular coca-cola.
