Like this product much better than any others glucose I have tried. Like the gel better than the tablets for blood sugar lows. Can be carried in pants pocket real easy. Can't find the gel in local stores.

The gel is great for low blood sugar because it is absorbed quickly and requires ingesting less volume than, e.g., apple juice. Considering the price per tube and that more than one is usually needed to correct for low blood sugar, it would be great if these were offered in 30 g and 45 g tubes as well.

I normally use glucose tablets to treat low blood sugar, and the price of these seems too high for regular use. However, I purchased some thinking they would be great for taking on vacation (to the beach). I was really glad I had them on hand last week when I had the stomach flu. I couldn't keep food down, but this gel worked really fast to treat a low when I had no other options. Great product!

This product is most useful for diabetics whose blood sugar is dropping and getting too low (below 90) and food is either unavailable or the urgency of raising the blood sugar is immediate. This is easy to administer even if the person can't chew, but can swallow. It is a better choice than candy, orange juice or milk because it is pure glucose and no other ingredients to have to metabolise. So much gentler on the digestive system. I buy it from this company because it is consistantly the least expensive of all the stores and sites I know and they are reliable.
