I have a lot of allergies and found this shampoo to be the best fragrance-free shampoo out there. I have tried a lot that are either expensive, don't cleanse well or that still aggravate my allergies. This does cleanse my hair and scalp well.

I have sensitive skin and scalp and use DHS shampoo because it's fragrance and dye free. It is not drying, and leaves my hair in good condition; I don't even have to use a conditioner. I take it with me to the hairdresser's whenever I have a haircut, and even my hairdressers have commented that it is a good shampoo. I don't use it every day; just two or three times a week.

I recently found out I'm allergic to "fragrance mix," which goes by several names and was in my shampoo, conditioner, & gel. My dermatologist recommended Free & Clear products, which totally dried my hair out. Encouraged by the positive reviews, I gave DHS a try. The only advantage over F&C is that it produces some lather. Otherwise, it leaves my hair tangled, brittle, utterly lacking in volume & shine, and full of static. And I've only been using it every other day--not daily, as the label suggests. Another disaster.

I always bring this on vacation because I am very allergic to parabens, which are contained in most shampoos. The 8-oz. size tucks neatly in the corner of my suitcase. I can't trust the shampoos provided by the hotels. I also use it before my hair color. I use a semi-permanent hair color. My hair has to be squeaky clean before using the color.

Will not buy again. Be sure to purchase small amt. before larger quantity, expensive mistake. Have Contact Dermatitis.

I am allergic to EVERYTING. I didn't realize that I'd become allergic to the medicated shampoo I'd been using. My scalp was completely white from dry, flaky skin. So embarrassing, frustrating and depressing. I ordered this shampoo on a whim. Boy! Am I glad I did. My scalp is 1000% better. No adverse reactions at all. I use it every other day. Gets my hair clean and my scalp doesn't sting when I wash it anymore. So, YAY for this shampoo! The only reason I didn't give it five stars, is because I never rate anything as "perfect".

I would recommend this to anyone who has fragrance allergies. It cleans well and leaves my hair silky soft.

Over the years I have tried many fragrance free shampoos. This one is the best. I shampoo every day and absolutely love it. I am very sensitive to fragrance and this product truly has no smell at all. It lathers well and leaves the hair feeling clean and conditioned. For a while Drugstore.com quit carrying this shampoo and I didn't know what I was going to do since it is hard to find. Thankfully, Drugstore.com started carrying it again. You can bet I have stocked up on it!
