I am a 36 year old mother of two who has mild adult acne. It has been moderate to severe in the past and I have completed 2 courses of accutane in the past to help control the acne. My son is 15 and has severe acne and is almost 4 months into his first accutane course. I heard about this product from a co-worker who said it worked wonders for her niece. I was of course skeptical. Being 36 I have obviously tried everything. The only thing that has ever worked for me is the accutane and then the acne comes back, although more mild, after. So far the accutane has only made a small difference for my son. So after hearing about herpanacine I decided to go online to read reviews. I liked the reviews and the price was not out of my price range to try something new... My son and I both started taking this product about three weeks ago. After a week my entire face broke out, but I expected that becasue this is a detoxifying product. There are usually these types of side effects when the body is ridding itself of toxins. My face broke out in a lot of small blemishes and my son got one huge zit on his forehead! Both of our break outs cleared up with in another week. Right now we are three weeks in and doing great. Almost 100% clear for both of us. I can't believe I have actually found something over the counter that works this well. I wish I had heard of it sooner. I can't wait to see how we look in 3 more weeks and it feels so good to see my son feeling better about himself.

I'm glad I discovered a safe, effective and economical treatment of acne as opposed to ingesting drugs which may pose a considerable likelihood of side effects. The rule of thumb which I adhere to as much as possible is, I won't apply medication to my skin that is not edible. Thankfully there is a natural product that is nontoxic and works from the inside out and gets to the root of the problem instead of merely treating the symptoms at the surface level.

I take one tablet a day. I used to get cold sores often, now, I do not get them at all. If I have an allergic reaction to food, I can feel one coming on, so I up my daily intake to two a day, and the cold sore never appears. It is the best way to rid your life of cold sores.

Fantastic product!

Some history: I've always had nice skin, maybe a spot or two here & there but nothing to complain about. But when I got to my late 30's, I started getting acne cysts -- you know, pimples that don't come to a head; sore pink bumps that weep clear fluid if you mess with 'em. I'd gotten them occasionally when I was younger, but this time around a spot would last MONTHS on my face. And just as it started to fade, another one would pop up.

The last year, not a day passed where I didn't have a nasty pimple to conceal. And I was starting to get to the point where two were popping up at once! Even a dermatologist couldn't help me -- the topical sulfur prescribed me didn't do a thing. Neither did any cream, lotion, face wash, etc I tried (and I tried 'em all).

I found Herpanicine at a health food store, gave it a go. Three tablets, twice a day. At the time, I'd had a big cyst on my chin & another starting up on my nose. Within three doses, the one on my nose disappeared. (I assume since the one on my chin was well-established, it was more resistant to the treatment)

I have not had one acne cyst since starting this supplement two bottles ago. Not one. I have my clear skin back!

Can't tell you how delighted I am. And now that my acne is under control, I can use moisturizers & wrinkle creams that were off-limits before. My skin hasn't looked this good in a long time.

I have had terrible acne since I was 15. I have been to several dermatoligists and tried everything (including Acutane which is terrible) and nothing, NOTHING has ever worked. I tried Herpanacine and did as they directed; 3 twice a day to start. After three months I was completely clear. I couldnt beleive it. It is really affordable, especially since I only have to take two twice a day now. Now I can finally get married and not have to worry about my skin looking clear!

I know this will sound like almost all the other reviews stating that this supplement works, but it really does. In my late 30's, I started getting cystic acne and had worse skin than when I was a teenager. I also had a very blotchy complexion, oily skin, breakouts and these little (and sometimes not so little) cystic bumps all over - really lovely. I have tried every acne soap on the planet, nothing has worked, plus I also have aging issues to deal with as well. The skin products for aging make me break out. The skin products for acne make me look old. Then I spotted Herpanacine in my local [...]and decided to give it a try. Within one week I noticed the break outs fading quickly and my complexion was more even and clear, less red. Within a month, I noticed the little bumps disappearing. I take 3 pills in the morning and 3 with lunch. With Herpanacine controlling the break outs, I am free to use more of the anti-aging products on my skin. About a month ago, months, I fell off from using Herpanacine because my local [...]was out of stock. And boy did the bad skin come back. So I am back on it again - the first "natural" supplement that has ever done anything for me is Herpanacine. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

Wow, I am a 24 year old woman who has had problems with acne since age 13. Since entering adulthood, I noticed that my facial breakouts were in conjunction with my ovulation and the second half of my period. I tried many different dermatologist prescriptions, even birth control and Pro-Activ and nothing has come close to the results I achieved with Herpanacine! I had given up, but just got sick of my skin still breaking out with my cycle again and again.

I should add that I took this in conjunction with fish oil, vitex agnus castus, and a multivitamin, so it may also be the combination of these as well. I see that it hasn't work for all, but for my cycle-related adult acne, I would say it reduced my breakouts by about 75% in the first months, we'll see how the following months turn out.
