I was excited to try the Diana B. product after reading a review on another site. Unfortunately, the product was messier than I anticipated. The Tan Towel is a better alternative.

Creates a light natural glow which is believable. No streaks, completely even. Does not dry out skin like sunless tanners do. Smells wonderful. Cleans up easily! The only negative is the price.

This product may smell ok and gives a slight tan and I was happy with it until I tried to wash my clothes and towels that I had used, which is when I discovered it WILL RUIN EVERYTHING YOU WEAR and any towels you use to dry off with after applying. It stains all of your underwear pink and will not come out even with bleach, and if you wear a white shirt or any light color it will stain anywhere it touches your skin, such as under the arms and around the neck.[...] It seems that a self tanner that ruins your clothing is not defective!....I was told to contact the manufacturer. So, if you can afford to throw away your clothes after one wearing, or don't mind your undies and anything else you touch being stained pink, then go ahead and pay a lot of money for a bad product.

OK so I didn't give this product 5 stars b/c I agree with a lot of the other reviewers - it is expensive! (even for my expensive taste). If this were in the $30-$35 dollar range that seems much more appropriate. What I like about this is that you apply in the shower and can rub (keep rubbing to keep the color even) the color in for 60 seconds or 4-5 minutes depending on the deepness you want. It will not leave streaks or an orange color. IT also smells great - like cocoa. It can leave a bit of a mess in the shower but I just wash the inside of the shower and the bottle off really well before I am done.

OK, this stuff is a bit expensive but nearly foolproof... I LOVE the light, brown, natural color (no orange, oompa loompa, bronze!) : ) It does take a couple of times to get the technique but I love that you can do it in the shower and just rinse it off. Don't fret, it looks really dark when you apply, just keep the mousse active by constantly rubbing your body and leave on the first time only a minute or two... once you get the hang of it you can try a little longer (one user said they did 3 minutes).

Bought this after reading other reviews. I like to wear dresses in summer with bare legs but always need some color in my legs! I wanted a quick tan without the awful smell and Diana B. does it. I followed the directions which are very straightforward and came out of the shower with some color in my otherwise stark white legs. While the color is not as much as the self-tanners I've used, there is no awful smell and the hint of color on my legs was just enough for me.

This is great but you need to leave it on for 2min. and use it every day for about 3-4 days then you will get nice subtle color with no streaks and no smell. watch out what kind of soap you are using, if it is real moisturizing it may block the performance of the product.

I was excited by the application of the product and it does smell great. As I was applying, it looked like I was going to get a rich dark tan, but when I rinsed off the product and patted dry, I was so disappointed. I could hardly see any color. The color just washed right off. I tried leaving it on longer than the reccommended time and continued to rub it in as the directions state, but after rinsing off it only accentuated any dry spots or imperfections. I repeated for several consecutive days (another package suggestion) and still find myself very disappointed with the product. I have medium skin tone and usually go for self tanners that say medium to dark. Maybe someone with fair skin would see some color with this product.

First this really does smells like chocolate and doesn't get fake tanner smell, EVER. I never thought that was possible.

It also gives instant results.

Initially learning curve, slightly. The first time I exfoliated well per reviewers recommendation. But have not since consitantly and have been fine. I think the key it to put it on (with gloves) and CONTINUALLY work it in. Keep rubbing and smearing it so there are no spots that it gets too much time on. Makes it even all over. I usually rinse my feet first just in case it gets uneven. By doing this I have had a consistant light tan glow by doing 2 times a week.

I should say that without this I am pasty white fair. I don't try to tan. And I was finally pretty comfortable being pale now days. Because I hated the trouble of self tanners and REALLY hated the smell. But this is nice. I feel comfortable going bare leg with skirts, etc. And it is quick. If I need a tan, hop in the shower and pop out ready to go.

Also easily rinses off shower. I rinse it off me well and that prevents getting on my white towels.

This is an amazing product! But I wish it was darker and last longer. It's so easy to put on....use the gloves, and it smells good. Does not build on it's self though. The idea is great just wish it would get me darker. I do recommend leaving it on longer than 60 sec.....I do more like 3min!
