I ordered this item so I did not have to affix a cup holder on the bathroom wall. This container is fine, but not the greatest. The reason why I say this is you have to hold down the top to take out a cup -- and that is a cup at a time. You must do this; otherwise, the entire container will come with you. The reason why I am keeping this holder:
1/ costs to send back 2/ the cup holder is what you make it to be and I decided I could get along with it and guess what -- it is not that bad. I am glad I kept it. The color of the one I received is white. Should I decide to relocate it, the white, of course, goes with everything. I am sure you will like it. I would recommend this to other people. Should they decide to go along with this one; it still will not be a mistake.

I really like the fact that the cup holder is sturdy and stylish at the same time. However, it doesn't hold enough cups for our family.

I ordered one for each bathroom in the house. I usually use 5oz cups - these come with 3 oz cups when they arrive. I neglected to turn it over for the 5oz side and thought I had misordered. Definitely operator error. This is a GREAT size for the bath, espcially one that is not in constant use. I will order another to keep in the kitchen since that's were my RO water is and most people congregate there.
The dsign/color is very compatible with any decor.

They're Dixie cups. Not much to say about them, we all know what they're used for! Great cups!

great for holding small disposable cups. Not meant to last forever, but practical and cost reasonable.

You're all right, this product is terrible. I just wrote to Dixie about it, you should voice your concerns to them as well. Here's what I wrote to them on their contact us form.

I would like to request that you consider producing the "old style" pull down dixie cup dispenser for 3 oz bathroom cups.

The new style is positively horrible and I can't find the old style for sale anywhere, including on the Internet. If you don't believe just me, check out the reviews of the current dispenser style at drugstore.com.

People are steering away from your product because it is so bad now. I have 5 bathrooms and only 3 have nice dispensers. I tried one "new style" dispenser and have decided to figure something else out until you return to a decent dispenser. But how much longer? I've been waiting a few years for you all to figure out the new dispenser is widely disliked and return the design to the popular old style.

Even Gillette brought back Lemon-Lime shaving cream after years of customer dissatisfaction. How about giving us loyal customers a treat and come out with a wall hanging pull-down dixie cup dispenser?

My husband and I both wish Dixie (or someone) would begin making the old pull-down dispenser again. Whether we have filled this new style of dispenser or it is near empty, you must use two hands to get a cup out without picking up the whole thing. It takes up space on the counter and gets splashed (unsanitary!) when washing hands or brushing teeth.

I like the small size of this dispenser. It doesn't take up a lot of space on bathroom vanity. easy to refill the cups. I have read in other reviews people have complained about the difficulty of getting cups to release easily - this only happens if you put too many cups in at a time.

I have bought two of these out of necessity, but they look terrible in both of my bathrooms that have ivory and wood trim. Such an 80's style with the white and silver. Too flimsy, the spring inside breaks too easily.
