I do wash my face after coming in from the sun, (and then apply regular DML) especially if I have had any perspiration bead up. I break out easily. I have tried others, natural adn organic sunscreens, and I have returned to this one as it works best on my skin and offers good protection. Because regular DML has no sunscreen, I thought I'd try DML Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF 25. Although this moisturizer is non-irritating, helps to lubricate and soften the skin, and is an effective sunscreen, it is too heavy for hot summer days. I feel as though my pores can't breathe as well when I use this product. I would prefer a lighter sunscreen, but it is very hard to find such products that don't irritate my skin. I'll keep looking. It being a great moisturizer is an added bonus since I have very dry skin. Have been using it for more than five years and will continue to use as long as I can find it to buy. The dermatologist recommended this to me over 10 years ago for my sensitive skin. It is the only one that doesn't cause a 'reaction' over long term use. Comments about DML Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 25: My dermatologist recommended DML to me a long time ago. I have been using it for about 6 years. I have psoriasis and rosacea. This is the best moisturizer I have ever had. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. My makeup goes on so much better after it dries, which only takes about a minute. It has a great SPF, which is very important to me. I have compliments on my skin all the time. I would recommend this to anyone! But beware, once you try it, you'll be hooked.
