Comments about Doctor's Best Quercetin Bromelain, Capsules, 180 ea: Bought this as an afterthought and so happy I did. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia, so my feet feel as if I'm walking on glass or on fire. It makes it so difficult to walk! After I tried this because I heard that quercetin was just a good supplement, I was amazed how much better my feet felt. I didn't originally buy it for this purpose. I was AMAZED! Now I couldn't live without it. As I've noticed, I don't have to take it as often as before, as my pain level has gone down even without taking it for a while. But when I notice my feet hurting, I take a couple and within 15 minutes, no pain. It has been a true life saver for me, I would recommend it to anyone with perpheral neuropathy (like diabetics, although I'm not.),. Comments about Doctor's Best Quercetin Bromelain, Capsules, 180 ea: I love being able to buy this with just the two ingredients I want. So many quercetin supplements have stuff added for allergies or asthma, which I don't need. I take this for an old knee injury, and if I run out, and go a few days without it, my knee flares up and I can't walk without a cane. I'm a believer. Comments about Doctor's Best Quercetin Bromelain, Capsules, 180 ea: It seems there is a little research that Quercetin can serve ito inhibit the release of histimines. I tried this at peak allergy season and it did seem to reduce my allergy symptoms. I won't say it completely elliminated the symptoms but it did help which I was glad for! Comments about Doctor's Best Quercetin Bromelain, Capsules, 180 ea: A consultant at a health food store recommended quercetin to me to help my sometimes out of control allergic responses to foods, drugs, etc. The consultant said it was good for sinus trouble also. I was curious and tried it. To my surprise I was able to tolerate taking medicine that I had shown allergic response to. I needed to take a certain medicine and had stopped becaue of swelling and rash. The quercetin stopped the allergic response and I was able to take the medicine. I took it about a month and noticed that my sinuses had suddenly cleared--I have chronic congestion. If I stop the quercetin my sinus congestion comes back. I am someone who reacts to a lot of substances and I keep quercetin around all the time. I would not try doing anything like taking it to prevent a severe drug allergy like my penicillin allergy, but it has not been risky for me to use for nonsevere, yet allergic reactions--I know they are allergic reactions because they respond to antihistimine. The quercetin does not act like antihistimine, because it stops the allergic response before it starts. Bromelain helps with swelling, and helps the system absorb quercetin. For someone who has chronic allergies and sinus problems this is definitely something to try--something the regular doctor will not know about. Just make sure to keep the dose within recommended guidelines. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (9 of 9 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
