Comments about Doctor's Best Vitamin D3 5000 IU, Softgel Capsules, 180 ea: After reading the reviews I decided to buy it. I too suffer with RA and my rhemutologist prescribe Vit. D, and Vit. K along with my regular medicine. This vitamin is the same dosage but at a lesser price. Although you should only take two capsule a week being that 5000IU is to much for any one person to consume on a daily basis. And can cause health issues. Some of my meds (for rheumatoid arthritis) promote photo-sensitivity, meaning I burn very easily, so I avoid a lot of sunshine. So I don't get enough Vitamin D. Recent studies show that most Americans are VitD-deficient, due to our generally indoor lifestyles. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful?
