Prepare the injury using sterile pads to stop the bleeding.  Clean the wound with clean water.  Apply first aid or antibiotic ointment or cream.  Position a sterile non-stick pad over the wound.  Use Self-Adhering Tape to securely, but gently, hold the non-stick pad over the injury.  Replace the dressing as needed.
