Finger Taping - Two strips are wrapped around the fingers: 1 between the knuckles and the middle finger joint and 1 between the middle finger joint and the upper finger joint. Padding may be placed in between the fingers for added comfort.
Wrist Taping - A strip of tape starting from the base of the wrist is wrapped around the wrist in a circular motion using three strips, each overlapping the previous strip by half its width.
Ankle Taping - One anchor strip is wrapped around the lower calf; a second anchor is wrapped around the arch. Place 2-3 stirrup strips from the inside of the top anchor, under the heel to the outside of the top anchor strip (overlapping the previous strip by half its width). Starting from the inside of the ankle wrap 1 strip around the arch, heel and ankle in a figure 8 motion, locking the heel. Repeat this again, overlapping the previous strip by half its width. Finally, wrap 6-7 strips continuing upwards to the anchor on the lower leg (overlapping the previous strip by half its width). |
