For two weeks now my hair has been looking worse and worse and I could not figure out why. I have used the Dove moisturizing conditioner - not the color treated version - with no ill effects for several years. I thought I'd give this one a try to see if it would help preserve my color longer. Finally it dawned on me after struggling with increasingly poofy, dull, kinky, non-separating, clumped up unmanageable hair that this conditioner was the culprit. Voila, after two shampoos with strong anti-residue shampoo (Neutrogena) and skipping this conditioner, I had normal hair again with significant separation, shine and manageability. The buildup in this is positively toxic for my excessively dry, color treated hair. I suggest everyone AVOID this if you don't appreciate products that build up heavily. Easily the worst hair product I ever used. I wanted to give it zero stars.

I love this line from Dove. It really help keep my hair soft and manageable, especially after I color it. Will continue to use this great line of hair products from Dove.

I love the L'oreal Professional color line, but I wanted to find something that wasn't $30 a bottle. I feel like I get the same result with this product. It is fabulous!

Dove has stood the test of time for providing excellent soap products, body lotion, body wash & NOW SHAMPOO!!!! Outstanding product, I'm a Dove fan. This shampoo enabled my hair to have shine & lasted.....my hair never looked so great! I was so thrilled to have found a shampoo this wonderful for color treated hair. I will continue using this shampoo & the conditioner.

I thought maybe all conditioners were the same. Not so. Compared to cheaper stuff like Suave and Alberto Vo5, this was really nice and did a much better job softening my hair. Would buy this again.

HORRIBLE, STRIPPED MY COLOR OUT, MADE MY HAIR DRY, AND I LOST ALL MY BODY AND NATURAL CURLS. Its a really a bad shampoo and conditioner.
Dove should stick to body washes.

This is the best hair product ever. I received a sample of this shampoo from Dove, because I've been using their products for a long time. I had highlights six months ago, and it really made a difference - my hair seems brighter and softer. It also give you the volume.

This sure didn't work well for me! It felt fine when I put it on and rinsed it off, but after drying my hair, I discovered that it didn't moisturize my hair enough at all, since my hair felt dry and brittle.
I have very dry, color-treated blonde hair that is also thin and lacks body. The best conditioners I have found are:
1) Keraphix Restorative Protein Creme Reconstructor
2) Redken Extreme Conditioner for Distressed Hair
3) Australian Organics for Dry or Color Treated
Don't waste your money on the others if you need
serious conditioning that doesn't weigh down your hair.
