I used to have an intense sweating problem. I finally did some research and found that I needed to make sure that my deoderant contained this ingredient: Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly (20%)

If you sweat a lot, anything less will probably not work. So, brand name doesn't matter. When people use a deo and blame the product, that's not it. It's probably the ingredients.

If you still sweat after using a deo with Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly (20%), then you probably need to try Certain Dri or get a prescription. It's that easy folks.

I bought Dove's clinical deodorant with high hopes... I expected that it would be just as effective as other clinical deodorants. Not true. After I started using it I found that my armpits were frequently wet with sweat. I thought I was just sweating more but when I switched back to Secret Clinical Deodorant my armpits were dry again! So, goodbye Dove. This deodorant just was not effective for me, and I wish I had changed back to Secret sooner!

I got this because it said you could use it in the morning and not just at night (unlike certain dri). I can never remember to put on deodorant at night. It took me all of middle school just to remember to put it on in the morning.

I think it works okay, but the problem is it smells so bad I can't stand to use it. I find it odd that everyone thinks it smells good, because I hate the smell. It is strong, and smells like chemicals. I hate the smell so much I can't use it long enough to figure out if it works. I can't even cover it up with my perfume unless I drown myself in it.

However, from what I can tell, it only works okay. It didn't seem to do away with my sweating, only reduced it a little.

It recommends use at night but since I take a shower in the morning - that would be pointless. I use right after showering and it does the job well. I just wish it went on clear. That is the only thing I don't like about it. If you have a problem finding a decent deodrant - try this - it works really well.

I sweat heavily and none of the "normal" brands worked. I had to order what I used on-line, which was expensive and a pain. Dove works just as well, is cheaper, and I can pick it up anytime I'm at the store.

I debated if I should pay the extra money to try the clinical strength, and I am so glad I did. This works great all day. And it does not leave white mess on my sleeveless shirts. My local drugstore did not have the Dove when I needed more, so I tried the Secret clinical strength, and it is nowhere near as good aas the Dove.

Didn't work any better than any other deodorant. And I agree with some other reviewers, at times it leaked out of the bottom and felt like oil. It does smell great, but I still found myself sweating a lot.
