I've been using this conditioner since my stylist recommended it to me... she said it was the best drugstore conditioner for avoiding buildup in your hair. It's not too heavy or light for my long curly/wavy hair, and it keeps it soft, healthy and tangle-free. What keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the scent. It's not a "bad smell" but it's strong if you have a sensitive nose, and it's not a particularly appealing scent.

I love all Dove products. I have thick wavy hair the shampoo i have always loved and used I cant find anywhere. I decided to try this it takes a bit to rinse it all out but it smells wonderful and leaves my hair feeling not only clean but soft and moisturized. i just simply love it.

I was using the Dove conditioner for damaged hair - I liked it much better than this one. When the Dove intensive repair ran out, my hair was in such great shape I decided to try Dove's regular daily moisturizing conditioner. It's a good conditioner overall. But compared to the other Dove intensive repair, not only does this one not condition hair as well, it is harder to rinse out! Go figure. But I do like it. I'd say it's on a par with Pantene Pro-V.

YUCK!! This is not a conditioner, it's a waxy tangle-inducer. And I am a really good rinser! Maybe I can use all the excess as a post-shower body rinse or something....I don't know but it's not going back into my hair. Sauve is much better, and cheaper.

I go to college in a town with horribly hard water. This conditioner is the only one that can make my thin, limp hair shiny, soft, and managable in spite of the water. It's fabulous! My only wish is that it had a stronger smell, but the conditioning is top-notch.

I have shoulder length, highlighted, naturally wavy/curly hair that is dry and frizzy. I couldn't believe how well this worked and for such a good price. Since trying a sample of the conditioner, I went on to try the combination of shampoo, conditioner, the frizz control cream and followed by the weightless gel. The combination really works, and I've had so many compliments on my hair. The curls are defined, and SOFT with just enough volume. I do find that about once a month I need to use a shampoo that gets all the products out.

I have long, naturally wavy and thick hair, with considerable volume. It is dry, especially at the ends. I always have to be trying different conditioners, and lots of gel for styling. A few months ago my hair condition worsened. I just used this product for the first time today, and my hair feels very soft and conditioned, and the parts that used to be drier feel and look much, much better.

I can honestly say this didn't do a thing for my dry, curly hair. If anything, my hair has become even frizzier than before. I will not be purchasing this product again.

I have long, thick, curly hair. Any woman with curly hair will tell you that the search for THE shampoo, or THE conditioner, or THE styling product, is never ending. Well, I have tried lots of things, and many of them ridiculously expensive to keep from looking like a frizz ball. This conditioner is WONDERFUL. I'd happily pay more for it, but am THRILLED that you can get a monster bottle for this price. More than worth every penny. No frizz, healthy shiny hair, and my curls actually CURL. Go figure! Yay Dove!
