I've been using this hairspray for years. I tried the new product and I hate it. It smells horrible and I can actually taste it in my throat after I use it. It makes my hair very dull, dry and cakey. I really hope Dove reads all the negative comments on their website and considers bringing this one back. I was thrilled to find it online and I ordered several cans of it....I may order more.

I started using this product when my friend recommended it because I couldn't find a decent hairspray to hold my back combed hair for my emo style hair cut ( razor cut ) A LOT of volume, tons of texture/layers.
All my past hairsprays I had to reapply constant hairspray.
I only need to use this once in the morning and once at night if I am going out.
This is my second favorite hairspray : my first is BIG SEXY HAIR.
Dove holds strong ! DOESN'T CREATE FLAKES OR AN ITCHY SCALP ! Doesn't go flat within a couple hours.

This is just terrible! One spray and I was glued together and even my hairbrush couldn't comb through the stiffness so I tossed the can out and washed my hair again. I am so not impressed by Dove products.

The smell was so bad, I do not even know if the product works. I used it once and was horrified by the smell. It stayed with me the entire night. It smelled like I just stepped out of a public restroom.

The first ingredient listed is water which should have clued me in and I will be checking the ingredient list when choosing hair spray from now on. I blow my hair out every morning but when I used this spray, my hair curled right back up.

I am very conscious of what i use on my skin and hair and dove has been my trusted brand for years. The hairspray is simply great. It gives manageable hold, has a pleasant smell and doesnt leave your hair flat or sticky. I have not tried styles that require extreme hold. I dont think in that case, this will serve the purpose either. But for medium hold and natural styles, this is a great option. Give it a try...

I agree with the other reviewers, this hairspray is great. Nice firm hold, not sticky. But the best part for me is that the spray nozzle never clogs up like other sprays. And the size is perfect for my gym bag...love it, love it, love it. Dove products are all pretty awesome.

This is the best hairspray ever! It holds nicely, but never feels stiff or sticky. It brushes out easily and leaves your hair full of body. It doesn't seem to build up on the hair at all-hair stays clean!

I wish that I would have known about this hairspray sooner! I love this stuff. It holds my hair great, without making it crunchy or stiff and it brushes out easily. Highly recommend it!

This is a really nice hairspray, as it has none of that sticky or crispy feel to your hair as other hairsprays. Plus the scent is very light. It keeps a hold of my hair for about 3-4 hours, although doesn't last much longer than that. Good for the price.
