I really like the old Dove moisturizing shampoo. This updated version (and yes, I checked the ingredients, its different) is horrible. Well, to be accurate, I had to buy new shampoo and conditioner at almost the same time and all I could find were the "new" versions so I don't know for certain whether it's the shampoo or conditioner or both. What I do know is that now my hair has split ends like you wouldn't believe. I called Dove to let them know and the representative clearly knew what I was talking about but would not take my comments without a bar code, which I didn't have because I was calling on my lunch hour, not from home. I'm going to order several of the "old" bottles from this website and when they run out, I guess I will begin looking for a new line of hair care.

Been using this for a while, and my hair has really never been so nice. I don't worry so much about breaking off or split ends anymore and the frizzies are gone completely.

It smells really good but I couldn't get it off. And my hair felt greasy and tended to fall out after using. Maybe it's just me. Will not buy again.

I like how it made my hair feel after washing, but I think it caused my hair to fall out.

I really don't like any Dove products, I've used this shampoo and the advanced care. I love how soft my hair is, but my hair has a tendency to break off, and Dove just makes it worse!!

I love this shampoo. I have color-treated hair and it has a lot of dry damaged areas. This DOES feel much different than regular shampoos, it feels like it's not doing anything at first. I was so used to heavy, creamy, greasy shampoos and conditioners (Pantene), and this is very light. But I gave it a few days, and noticed a huge difference in my hair. No more buildup, more volume, and works really well with detangling. I also use the matching conditioner, and then I use Samy Curl Cream afterwards, which is also a great product if you have frizz like me.
The Dove will not put a build up in your hair, but the Samy does, so I deep clean twice a week.
Try Dove, it's a decent shampoo for the money. And NO WAX...

BEST shampoo I have ever used! Never going to even try another kind, I know I'll use this stuff as long as they sell it. I have super-thick and dry hair. Frizzy as can be. This shampoo rules!

TERRIBLE!! I have thick, normal hair that tangles easily and this stuff left a waxy film and made it limp and frizzy at the same time. Not at ALL soft. I don't know how they managed that one! I also rinse fanatically, so it wasn't because of not rinsing. Same goes for their conditioner. It's really a shame because I love the Dove "REAL BEAUTY" campaign, but this stuff just sucks.
