I did not expect to experience sensitivity to a Dove product. This shampoo is harsh, and makes my scalp itch. I had to give it away to someone less sensitive to chemical ingredients.

This shampoo is gentler than many I have used in the past.It doesn't make the hair frizzy and dry as many of the shampoos do.

I started using this because I have very fine hair and I loved the smell. It only takes a dab to produce lots of lather so a big bottle lasts a long time. I love that! I use it with the Volume Therapy Conditioner. They changed the cap on the bottles awhile back and I really don't like the new ones. When it first came out it had an easy open cap that was flat so you could sit it upside down and get every little bit out of the bottle. It was so much easier to open and handy to it it in the shower. Sometimes I hurt a finger trying to flip open this type of cap.

I really enjoyed this Dove product. It smells nice and clean like most Dove products and it left my hair feeling very clean. I use this with the Dove Extra Volume conditioner and I think my hair has more volume.
