Silky texture, rinses easily, no harsh chemicals, a natural body wash that is not harmful. I really appreciate this product for its simplicity and natural goodness. A bottle goes a very long way! I've been using it for years. Perfect for those who dislike fragrances in their body products, as it is completely neutral in scent. Many products for children and adults alike are filled with harsh, potentially damaging chemicals; this one is not. My daughter also swears by it and she is very selective. I am loyal to this product and would advise anyone to give it a try.

We use this for 'making' all kinds of soaps & cleansers in our house
Try re-filling any foaming pump style container (e.g. method) with a couple teaspoons of this, a couple drops of essential oil of lavender, grapefruit, etc. and filling the rest with water for a great hand-soap. I also use it straight with drops of essential lavender oil for my bath gel and also for our children. It makes a great shampoo for them, as well. I add it to vinegar, peroxide, water & essential oil of peppermint for a multi-purpose spray cleanser (try re-filling an empty spray container) and a multi-surface floor cleanser (I refilled an old Dish Detergent squirting bottle) for hardwood floors and polished concrete.
I initially bought it for the non-toxic health benefits but quickly realized how economical it it. You can get the other scented versions but I prefer to have this and then add whatever oils I want. Plus, this is super sensitive for babies. I used it right after mine were born with no added oils.

I really wanted to like this. I like other Bronner products. But when I use this, I pour it into my hand, or into my little girl's hand, and it slips right through because the product is thin. I end up wasting a lot of product and sometimes having to clean it off the bathroom floor. If it were a little bit thicker, it would be so much easier to use.

When I find something that meets my needs, I tend to stick with it unless I find something better. When it comes to soap for my face and body, Dr. Bronner's is a superior product in every way that is important to me. In order of importance: copious sudsing with effective cleaning; gentle on skin/non-drying;; chemical free and clean rinsing, leaving no residue on me OR in my glass and tile shower. Your needs may vary, but it meets all my needs perfectly. I predilute for daily showers-1 to 4 in a pump bottle and use as needed during showering, with a washcloth. It can be diluted further and still be effective, but I like my suds.

What surprised me about this soap, which I bought for body wash in the shower, is how good it is for the FACE. My face just feels "normal" after washing. It takes off my daily makeup, but I still have to use an oil based remover beforehand, if I have a waterproof mascara on. It takes off the rest and removes the oily residue from the mascara remover. I have no NEED for scrubs, toners and moisturizers anymore. I have thrown out my various "used once" face washes, toners and a plethora of acne treatments; all the STUPID bottles of body washes (olay, neutrogena, Dove-etc) and "beauty" bars of every kind taking up room under the bathroom sink are now in the trashcan. I use the Bronner's nearly every day, the St. Ives scrub once a week (as needed, on face and body) and an AHA moisturizer that I continue to use twice a week on my face. I use a variety of brands of cosmetics..too many to list, both oil and water based.

Please, never stop making this magic soap and never change the formula, even if you have to raise the pricing on it. It is already a HUGE bargain for those of us who have done the math comparing the QUALITY and effectiveness of Bronner's with nearly every other soap available and after factoring in all the other facial products that are required to combat the effects of using ordinary soaps, it's value is obvious.

I used this liquid soap in order to create my own cleaners. I made bathroom cleaner and kitchen cleaner. It works really well, but the vaguely oily smell is distracting. Next time, I will purchase one of the flavors in the hopes that it will smell better. I added my own essential oils for flavor, but somehow that oily smell is overpowering.

I tried this product for the first time and after a while it made my skin itch and I got a rash. The itching was always right after the shower.
I use it has a shampoo, but I found out online that I have to do a vinegar rinse to remove the left over white residue off my hair and restore the pH. I have sensitive skin, but this product wasn't that mild enough for me. It stings like one user said. I am very much disappointed.
I would recommend for other uses (i.e. household cleaning), but not on the body.

Love this stuff...The whole family uses this from head to toe...I even use it on my 8 month old baby who gets heat rashes, has lots and tons of baby soft curly hair. It doesn't weight our hair down and doesn't dry it either. It doesn't irritate anyone's skin (2 of my children have sensitive/dry skin). However, the first time I used it on my 6 year old daughter's long and thin hair, it made it a bit "greasy" like. Therefore, after I washed it, I did the Vinegar Water rinse, and her hair was perfect. I do the rinse on her hair once a week and wash it as regular every other day, and her hair is better than ever. I guess your hair has to get used to it! I haven't used this anywhere else but in the bathroom and to wash my veggies and fruits and baby toys, so I don't know how it works on other stuff...and I haven't used on face, we used Castor oil and charcoal soap for that. Please understand that you are dealing with a natural product, this doesn't have all those nasty chemicals that only masks problems and actually do more harm and damage. Give it a chance, get use to it, you will love it! Plus it will last A VERY LONG LONG TIME...I should know we are a family of 5.
