This is THE best soap! REAL soap, not sudsy, petroleum based, preservative laden detergent. Liquid body washes, hand "soaps" and even bar "soaps" are not really soap. Most are made from toxic, petroleum derived oils and sodium laurel sulphate to make them suds.

I have rosacea (red, bumpy, sensitive skin on face and chest), which has been getting progressively worse over the last few years. I have taken hormones, antibiotics, steriod creams, and other prescriptions as well, each with only limited temporary results. My skin was only getting worse. Someone suggested I try Dr. Bronner's soap, so I did. And I'm so glad I tried it! I'm now thinking a big part of my problem was the artificial ingredients in my other cleansers (and I've tried all the expensive ones). None of them contained any true natural soap. I never even knew there was a difference!

Well, I'm sold on this. I put a little full strength in a travel bottle and filled the rest with water to use in the shower. My skin gets clean. REALLY clean. This is important especially since I live in Florida where it is very warm and humid a good part of the year. My skin was just accumulating oil and never really getting clean unless I did a complete steam facial.

The first week I used this, my skin felt really sensitive, stinging a little while washing. My face started flaking and peeling somewhat ( I also use Retin-A cream prescribed by my Dr) so I was not that concerned. I stuck with the regimine. It was like I had gotten a chemical peel (yes, done that before, too). Well, a week later, all the "dead" skin peeled off completely and now my skin is like new! I can't believe it! I'm not sure why my skin peeled like that, but maybe my old cleanser was not exfoliating properly in conjunction with my Retin A. The Dr. Bronner's seems to work perfectly together with my prescription. After washing my face, I dab a little olive oil on my skin and it drinks it in. My skin is soft, less redness, no bumps or rough patches, oiliness is more normalized. Bonus- freckles are lighter! Now I'm using Dr. Bronner's on my body in the shower, as well and my arms and legs are so smooth and soft. Immediately after stepping out of the shower, I smooth on a little olive oil and my skin glows. Maybe the olive oil works especially well with this soap because the soap is a natural product. Before, when I used "body wash", the oil would just sit on top of my skin.

This soap has sooo many uses. I think I've found my all purpose cleaning product. I diluted it with water and put it in a spray bottle to clean my counter tops and shower tiles. I diluted it in a bucket of water to clean my tile floors, no rinsing either, by the way. I put 1 cup of Borax, 1 cup of washing soda, and 1/4 cup of Dr. Bronner's liquid in a food processor, pulsed it a few time to mix well and used 2 tablespoons of this for laundry detergent (works great for laundry). My clothes and towels come out fresh, clean, and really soft. No need for fab softener. I store this in a Rubbermaid container and used a coffee scoop to measure. This amount of laundry soap lasts my family of 5 about a month, so you can do the math on the savings. I also mixed it with water into a Bath&BodyWorks foaming hand soap dispenser and use it at the sinks (my kids love it)for hand washing.

If you are searching for a natural, organic ingredient product that has multiple uses, is non toxic and works great, try this soap! I highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to trying the other varieties of this soap (maybe Rose or Almond next).

I have this in all my soap dispensers. It's concentrated so you can dilute it with water. It's important to me that the products I used not be test on animals. This qualifies.

A great all around soap that is mild and made with simple, natural ingredients. I find it is wasteful to use it straight out of the bottle because it comes out too fast. I put it in my own bottles/pumps. Looks a little pricey maybe, but this bottle lasts me about 4 months. I dilute it 2 parts to 1 part water and put it in a squeezy bottle in the shower to use as a body wash. I dilute it 1 part to 2 parts water and put it in a liquid soap foaming pump for a hand soap in the bathroom. My boyfriend uses it as shampoo (I go for fancier stuff for my hair). It's just a great classic castile soap. I've been using it for about 6 years.

This is the best healthy soap on the market. I mix other oils in the liquid and use it daily.

Now my body does not like any other soap to clean its skin.

Recommended to me by a woman who uses only natural products for gardening, home and personal use. Great fragrance (almond). It was less expensive to order it from Drug Store than at the [@] (I hate big box stores)!

I love it! All natural, great value. I use it to clean house, wash my hair, laundry, pets. Although it says you can brush teeth with it, I wouldn't recommend. I've tried and it tasted horrible. For even better value, go to grocery store/ whole food store, they usualy have refill which you could get a small amount to try out first.

I highly recommend this product!!!

Bought this trying to find a more feminine scent. This just smells like the eucalyptus with some faint amount of lavender in it. Not what I was looking for and the combination of scents is not pleasant. Too many other scents to continue buying this one.

I use this as laundry detergent, shampoo, body soap and kitchen cleaner! It is so much easier (and cheaper) than buying all of those things seperately.
