We're trying to use only natural/organic products at home and I've been pleased with other Dr Bronner's products, so we gave this a shot. We use it as a bath/shower gel and you can get away with using only a few drops. It lasts forever and smells great. We also dilute it for other uses (hand soap, cleaning, etc). Overall, this is one of my favorite products yet. If you're looking to go natural without spending a lot, this is the way to go.

Great everyday use item. This product can be used in the shower as well as a gentle hand soap. Love it!

This natural peppermint castile soap is very nice. It is fresh, natural, and does not leave a residue. Due to it being very thin and runny I bought a foaming dispenser for it and it works great.

I wanted something better for my family, instead of the harmful chemicals in most products. I came across this line and was skeptical at first. I mean come on, a product that you can use to shampoo your hair, bath, wash clothing and do other household chores with seems too go to be true. I absolutely love to use this in the shower. My hair seems clean and my skin is so soft after I get out of the shower. I was outside the other day and noticed my skin had this healthy glow. Get this, I didn't have to use harmful chemicals to get that healthy glow. I decided to give this a try in my kitchen. I used it to clean out my sink and it did a pretty good job. My next test will be...counter tops. I'll let you guys know the verdict once I finish.

I use the product to prevent ticks from attacking when camping. I read this in a book and subsequently tried it, and have not had a tick bite since. I mix it with water and spray myself, and spritz my clothing and forget about ticks.

My husband originally used this while he was a chef at a YMCA camp. It was a safe soap that you could use while bathing in the lake or a stream.

For the longest time we were trying to find this product and we did. It smells good and works very well. He's in heaven now that we have it.

To trim down the contents of my backpack, I brought this 16 oz. bottle with me on a month-long trip to Europe to use as soap, shampoo, and laundry soap, mainly. I was truly impressed! I love how refreshing it is as a body wash and shampoo, although I do have to use conditioner afterward because it cleans a bit too well. It's also fantastic as laundry soap for hand-washing my clothes - it got odors out well & the peppermint scent was so pleasant afterward.

(I've also used it in a washing machine along with oxygen bleach and my clothes were cleaner than usual.)

I use it full-strength to clean my makeup brushes, and it is miraculous - all makeup residue just seems to melt off the brush. I put just a few drops into the center of my palm and swirl the brushes in it and almost immediately I can see all the makeup residue in the soap. Pretty amazing.

A little bit goes a long way and I really recommend diluting it first - the consistency is thin and the opening spurts the product out quite quickly if you're not super careful, so diluting it helps the bottle to last longer.

Oh, I also diluted this in one of those foaming bottles and use it as a shaving cream, and it works nicely, too. This soap really is magical!

This is a great product. It cleans well, is long lasting and a total body awareness experience. It makes for a great shower. The packaging is a little strange, the bottle is covered in a rambling relgious flight of ideas reminiscent of a schizophrenic hippie. Interesting.
