I had sort of forgotten about Dr. Bronner's soap, and bought a bottle on a whim. I'm so glad I rediscovered this soap! I don't think I used tea tree back in the day, but it's now the one I like. The smell is "foresty" and clean, but I can imagine people who are used to very flowery or synthetic scents might not like it. I use it as body wash in the shower, occasionally to wash delicate clothes in the sink, and one day I washed my hair with it when I was in a hurry and it actually was great. A good value all around.

I love this soap. I add a few squirts to water in a spray bottle and use on all hard surfaces. I keep one in all the bathrooms and kitchen. I have made laundry soap and dishwasher soap out of it too! It has a variety of scents and also comes unscented.

I love this soap. Because it's so moisturizing, it really helps keep my skin healthy, esp. in the cold, dry winter months. For hand soap I mix it with water in a foaming soap dispenser, and it goes a long way. The smell takes some getting used to because of the tea tree oil, but I don't mind because I know it's killing germs with natural ingredients.

Love it!!My 2 kids use it!!after use it ,the skin so soft and smell so good!!and my big kids use other soap will itch ,but after use this soap no more itch!!and also not dry !!The skin look health!!I will buy it again!!

This soap is amazing! I bathe with it every day and it leaves my skin feeling super smooth. I don't understand the complaints about the smell-I think it's fantastic! If any of you are familiar with Dettol, that's what it smells like. It just makes me feel incredibly clean whenever I use it!

I had been evaluating different soaps by other makers (even within this site) and I use this soap an could not believe the dirt that came from my body compared to other soaps.The smell, just the right scent. My wife used it and could not believe how efficiently it cleaned. I think i found a brand that I will use for now. Keep up the good work Dr. Bonner.

I love Castile soap in general, I use it for EVERYTHING. I feel the same way about tea tree essential oil. Having the two combined already saves me a step, which is great. And I personally love the scent of tea tree, so no worries there! However, I do feel that Dr. Bronner's brand is a bit overpriced, as you can get a generic castile soap for much less money. That said, a little does go a long way, so either way, its a god buy.

Stop whining. It smells like tea tree oil, a major ingredient in this soap. It's not a cloying, over-powering scent like many soaps out there.

The tea tree additive seems to help clean better than the feel-good additives in the other, sweeter-smelling soaps in this line. I like that this does not dry my skin out, either.

If you're looking for really clean skin, this is the stuff. If you're looking for cloying aromatherapy, this is not for you.

I've used this soap for years now to wash various parts with, until yesterday. I like to put it in a pump for the shower, even though the nature of the soap makes it clog anything you try to pump or squeeze it out of. I never, ever had a problem with that before. While showering last night, I went to use the soap (from my pump) as usual when it shot full strength directly into my left eye. BE VERY CAREFUL. The feeling was like acid and magma in my eye. The best thing to do it just rinse it with water only and do not rub it at all. My eye will be red and swollen for a few days but I can see to write this review. This is a fine product and I'm very sad this happened. I'm too scared to use the liquid again so I'm switching to the bar soap!
