I've used these soaps for YEARS and LOVE them all - they are pure and gentle but effective cleansers - not drying to the skin either. I'm a budget minded person but I don't consider these soaps a 'splurge' -

I can always trust drugstore.com to give me the best service. I shop a lot on the internet and drugstore is my first place to check for a multitude of items. I find items here that are harder to find. They carry a lot of natural products also that I like. It always surprises me what they carry. The delivery service is great as is the cost of shipping! I cannot think of one way they would qualify as "aren't so great". I love drugstore.com!!

I tend to use high-end soaps (eg. Caswell-Massey), and this lasts longer and smells better. The liquid tends to burn my skin a bit, I didn't notice any of this with the bar soap. It doesn't seem to leave a residue like some soaps do, but still left me clean and I didn't dry out! Nice stuff!

I have sensitive / dry skin and develop rashes with many commercial soaps. This is one of the few soaps I can use that does not cause skin irritation. Peppermint is a great start in the morning, but I have used many of the scents -- lavender is very nice as well.

This soap lasts about a month in the shower. The peppermint smells great and is not too girly. My husband uses it too and likes it very much..
Though my skin is extremely sensitive, the fragrance is not at all irritating. In fact, it makes my skin quite smooth and is even good on my combination facial skin. It is effective even in this dry, cold, winter. We keep this soap in stock!

I used Dr. Bronner's soap by chance and then just fell in love with it. No doubt, it is the best soap I have ever used. Keep me clean, refresh, and does not dry my skin. Later I also tried H2O, Lush, Borghese, Dove and nothing can compare to this, so I am back and will keep using it forever I think.

I've been a faithful user of Dr. Bronners Peppermint Soap for 30 years. I usually get the liquid at a natural foods store but recently moved to the country and it is a lot farther to drive now to get it. So, I ordered the bar soap online and I absolutely love it. Its as good as the liquid. Makes you feel fresh and tingly and smells so clean. The bar has lasted a long time and lathers really well. I guess for people who are not used to this soap, might find it uncomfortable at first on those more tender spots but it does not bother me at all. Just don't get it in your eyes! Does not dry out my skin.
