Comments about Dr. Brown's Natural Flow BPA Free Polypropylene Bottles, 4 oz & 8 oz, 2 ea:

These bottles are fantastic. After switching to these, my son never spits up or has gas of any sort. Previously we needed anti gas drops with every meal. That is the point of these bottles. If your baby isn't gassy and is happy with a simpler bottle, then this system is probably not necessary.

Unlike the other reviewer, I use the Dr. Brown's formula mixing pitcher, so I have never tried to mix formula directly into the bottle. Based on the design and number of parts, if this is your bag, then this bottle will probably drive you nuts.

The bottles are great quality and have a soft silicone nipple. They do not leak if you tilt the bottle at a sufficient angle where the bottom of the "straw" on the vent system is exposed. If the baby sucks on the bottle and the bottom is covered with milk, a vacuum is created in the bottle, and the bottle will leak.

The bottle is also produced in the USA. It's always nice to purchase products that put Americans to work!

Comments about Dr. Brown's Natural Flow BPA Free Polypropylene Bottles, 4 oz & 8 oz, 2 ea:

I do have to say that even though the bottles do leak from time to time I love this bottle....It is NOT hard to clean if you use the brush they give you with the bottles(or even use a bottle brush) and While the last review said it was hard to mix formula what I do is put the water and formula in, cover it with my hand and shake it THEN put in the vent system. I started out using the drop-ins and switched to the dr browns and my son no longer is as gassy and fussy as he was with the other ones also he doesn't "play" with the nipple as much as he did or take as much time with this bottle. (with the drop-ins he was taking an hour or more to eat 6 ozs-AFTER trying diff nipples with it) and time was cut WAY down the the dr browns ones. I recommend this product to anyone!!

Comments about Dr. Brown's Natural Flow BPA Free Polypropylene Bottles, 4 oz & 8 oz, 2 ea:

the bottle will leak w/o the ventilation reservoir, but I also use Bornfree which wont leak w/o the venting system, I guess leak-free is the the minimum requirement of a bottle. also in the package, there is no reservoir for 4 oz bottle, so I can not use the bottle at all. after I send the photo to Dr brown, they still could not figure out the problem. fortunately, this bottle is not very expensive, otherwise it is a big loss! the bottle is slim design and the venting reservoir is a long thin tube, so it is hard to clean thoroughly or mix formula in the bottle. maybe Dr Brown's wide neck bottle is better, but I would never use Dr brown's product anymore for their poor quality control (so I got wrong products) and poor customer service.
