It is durable, resists spitting and because it is flat like other flosses but is wider it does not cut into gums. Though I wish it were less expensive, I will definitely buy this product again. Comments about Dr. Collins Dental Work Floss, Unwaxed, 55 yd: I floss numerous times daily and this is best un-waxed floss I have ever used. Other brands break and will not slip in-between teeth. This floss is very strong, I could not even break it whilst intentionally trying. This floss is easily maneuverable in-between the teeth, even the hard to reach tight areas that normal floss can't get to. I would recommend this floss to any un-waxed floss user. Bravo Dr. Collins!
