Restore whitens and cleans teeth exceptionally well. I have soft teeth so a product like Restore is very welcome as a main tool in my fight to keep my teeth healthy. Adds a bright smile to my face in more ways than just it's fantastic whitening ability.

I bought this along with the 22% whitening kit, worried about sensitivity issues with whitening. I used this for two days before starting the whitening process and noticed my teeth felt more like they do right out of the dentist's office. I use a sensitive formula toothpaste regularly and still had issues with things like ice water. Two weeks after using this exclusively, that issue disappeared. I also never experienced any issues with sensitivity, despite a twice-a-day whitening regiment. This is definitely my sole and favorite toothpaste at this point.

Bought this toothpaste b/c of all the great reviews (I have extremely sensitive and broken teeth). The first few times, it seemed very harsh/gritty (the silica), almost like brushing w/ sand in your toothpaste. I use an extra soft brush, but it made my teeth MORE sensitive. Went back to the Sensodyne for a few days. I am using this again for about 2 weeks, 1x per day, and don't really notice anything. Teeth are a little less sensitive, but could be the Sensodyne, too. Teeth are definitely not whiter or feel like they are coated w/ glass. Will keep using it since I paid for it, and hope time will help. I really WANT this to work!

This product does all it promises to do,and whitens! After I started using it, after a few weeks I started noticing that my teeth and gums looked healthier and my teeth whiter! Worth the price.

I bought this product after reading the reviews. My teeth are yellowed with age. I am still on the first tube and have seen some minor change in color. I am writing this after just getting up. Running my tongue over my teeth I do not feel the usual morning film after sleeping. I believe that it is cleaning my teeth better. Perhaps it is coating my teeth somehow to reduce the film??? I only gave 4 stars as this is still a work in progress. It will be interesting to hear what the dentist has to say.

I started using this after a home teeth whitening because I wanted to protect my teeth from mineral loss .... I used it every day instead of regular toothpaste, and soon I started noticing that not only were my gums now clear and my teeth pain free, but my teeth were even whiter than they were after the whitening session! It's pricey, but well worth it. Best I've ever used!

I had my back molar filled, but the discomfort continued on. The tooth and the area around it always felt burny and itchy and had a metallic taste. There was also sensitivity to cold and to sugar. Even very salty items would cause the condition to flare. Once it started, it would not stop. My tooth would just sit there, pulsating, itching from the inside, and I felt like it was driving me mad. OTC painkillers did nothing. I went to the dentist two more times to just have them look at my tooth, only to have them say both times that they saw nothing wrong with it other than demineralization and to use fluoride rinse and anti-sensitivity tooth paste. I did those things, but was still forced to resort to Orajel and/or clove oil to get even an hour of relief. Soon enough, even that didn't work anymore. All seemed hopeless.... But then I Googled "tooth remineralization" and this came up. I checked out some of the reviews from other sites, and it seemed promising. I am a skeptic about so-called miracle products, and I don't exactly like the idea of spending more than $7 on a toothpaste that I have to mail away for. BUT IT WORKS. It's only been 11 days and I am almost completely free of the flare-ups. I do have to be meticulous about brushing my teeth after every meal/snack. I use this stuff in the morning but don't rinse, so as to let it do its thing. A few hours later, I rinse my mouth with fluoride mouthwash. I brush with Isoactive toothpaste after lunch, and then use this stuff the rest of the time. I am SO GLAD I TRIED THIS, It is the miracle I had been praying for for months.

It is a little gritty but after you get used to it, it's no big deal. Something about its gritty texture seems to me to be a part of it doing its job.

Some reviews on other sites have said it is made in China. My tubes both say Made in USA.

I read about new research on this stuff called Novamin. It's supposed to be a natural way to help with sensitivity and whitening, without fluoride (it helps repair the tubules in your teeth, which we all have). Lots of scientific research has gone into this product, and I must say, it was hard to find. However, after a trip to the dentist where they told me there was nothing they could do for my one tooth that has a sensitivity problem, well, I dug around and found out about Novamin, found this product, and snatched it up. I'm happy that I did. I use this every night before bed, and it seems to be helping. I already have much less sensitivity in that tooth, and BONUS, whiter teeth. I still been using the Ultra Brite with fluoride in the morning, but may totally switch to using this paste twice a day. Might work even better that way? Overall, very happy with this item and I will definitely order it again. Yeah, it seems pricey next to "regular" toothpaste, but what are your teeth worth? Great buy, great product!

Despite brushing with a fluoride toothpaste and eating the best diet I can (a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, sprouted grains and nuts; sometimes a little fish) I still get cavities (although the reate seems to have slowed down). In addition to that I also had painful sensitivity, which I thought could be due to the type of fillings in my teeth (I have white composite fillings, not metal). I showed this toothpaste to my dentist, who is a notable "wholistic" dentist in NYC, and he said this toothpaste might also help reduce cavities by strenthening the enamel..

After only about a week of brushing with Dr. Collins, the sensitivity in my teeth was pretty much gone and has been gone ever since. I'll have to wait until my next checkup to see if I have fewer cavities. I'm only using it once a day, after the morning meal, since I use another toothpaste in the evening for my gums (Jason Healthy Mouth -- the absolute BEST I have found for problem gums!).

The only issue I have is that it's made in China, so who knows WHAT is really in the toothpaste! I'm going to keep using it though, as the others like it out there are loaded with awful ingredients (the closest I've found is Arm and Hammer Anti-aging).
