I did have surgery in 2005, but everything that could go wrong did, and they're back. I put these on before going for what turned out to be a 3 hour walk in the park. I completely forgot about them until I got home and took my shoes off and realized that I had no discomfort in my feet. These things are amazing. I'm glad I tried them. I am now 30 something and have used these off and on for years. I have really severe bunions and have had the bunion surgery on my one foot already. On the foot that is still bad, this is the best. It really lessens the pain and is very comfortable. I highly recommend. Comments about Dr. Scholl's Bunion Cushions with ComfortPlus, 6 ea: This pad really helps! It adheres to your skin and does not come off. The only down side is you really have to work to get it off at the end of the day, but the adhesive does not irritate your skin. I felt like my tender areas were protected. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these bunion pads to all of my friends, and most of them need them! Other bunion pad products don't stay in place and therefore provide only temporary relief. But Dr. Scholl's is a much better quality product that stays in place. I rate it highly. I wore them with tennis shoes and high heels. With the tennis shoes, there wasn't any problem. They also helped to protect my feet from blisters. But when I wore them with the high heels, they felt a little funny. They're a little bit too big, I guess. But still, they did great for keeping the pressure off of the painful part of my foot.
