After 9 days of using these strips continuously (changing every 1-2 days), the wart basically peeled off. A few days after that the skin had totally healed and looks normal. The adhesive on the strips works very well and they never came off, even after showers and frequent hand washing. The only negative thing I can say is that it made the skin around the wart peel off as well, so the whole area was a little sore for a few days. VS Most Liked Negative Review Didn't Care for It - Try Coconut I didn't really care for these pads, and they didn't deliver the kind of results I was looking for on a rather stubborn wart that I had on the top of my big toe. ...Read complete review I didn't really care for these pads, and they didn't deliver the kind of results I was looking for on a rather stubborn wart that I had on the top of my big toe. They often slipped off with shoes, usually in the shower and just worked too slowly in my case (only a few layers at a time). I tried it for a few weeks to a month, and they did take off a few layers, but it got too painful after a while and caused scarring (even using vaseline around the site), so I finally gave up. I've a pretty high pain tolerance, but this was ridiculous. Then again, I suppose it depends on the wart and the person. Best Uses Comments about Dr. Scholl's Clear Away One Step, Salicylic Acid Wart Remover, 14 ea: I bought this for my 12 year old son who had 2 warts on his stomach. We covered each of the warts and changed the bandaids every 2 days until we used the entire box and it made absolutely no difference except he now has 2 more that are popping up. Cons Best Uses Comments about Dr. Scholl's Clear Away One Step, Salicylic Acid Wart Remover, 14 ea: Works like a charm. I tried the freeze away 3 times and it didn't work. I wore these strips for a little over a week and the wart is gone. It also conceals, as it just looks like a band-aid. Comments about Dr. Scholl's Clear Away One Step, Salicylic Acid Wart Remover, 14 ea: got rid of wart cluster with only one strip (worn for 48-hours).....but took a few layers of my skin with it!! THAT is still healing almost 2 weeks later.... (0 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Dr. Scholl's Clear Away One Step, Salicylic Acid Wart Remover, 14 ea: Easy to use, does not work as effectively b/c I am in healthcare and wash my hands profusely. Directions say to leave it on and change every 48 hrs, but I have to change it more often b/c the adhesive cannot withstand the repeated handwashing. It is a good quick fix to cover and get things started in healing. Better than to not do anything. Comments about Dr. Scholl's Clear Away One Step, Salicylic Acid Wart Remover, 14 ea: I have been using this product for just under a week now and I can already see a difference. I had actually made an appointment with a dermatologist but canceled once I saw how well this was working. The wart has dramatically decreased in size after only 5 days. My wart is on my toe so the bandage does slip a little when walking fast, but no big deal. I have hopes that this will nip it in the bud!
