I wear heels just about everyday to work, and as such have developed some calluses on the pressure points of my feet. Nothing serious, but also something that I wish I didn't have. I didn't want to get anything heavy duty or overly dramatic, so I thought that this simple smooth my sole product from Dr. Scholls would do the trick. And it did! It is not complicated, is easy to use, doesn't wear out your hand, doesn't hurt your feet, and does produce good results. I use it a couple of times a week, when I am watching tv or something, and it helps maintain smooth soles without hurting my feet or requiring a lot of time. The only con is that it doesn't keep in all of the skin, so can be a little messy, but not too bad.

I usually like Dr. Scholl products but the only thing you're paying for is the pretty pink. Get a Ped Egg instead. They cost the same and are sturdy. The Dr. Scholl is flimsy, the blades are NOT sharp, and the overall feel is cheap. It's disappointing.

I really like this product. I didn't really have a problem with it all I wish I could buy those sanding papers separate, maybe you can I never seen them sold alone. I had mine for a couple of years and seem to work okay but it was time for a new also i used up all the shaving/sanding paper which really smooths after. As for the shavings falling out you have to keep it horizontal if not it will fall out. I don't find that being a problem with the product itself you just have to know how to use it. Also i was going to buy two more today but i see the pedegg is much cheaper..

Sorry to say that this was the first item that I purchased from drugstore.com that I was disappointed with. This appararatus did not do anything that was promised. It did not remove any of the dry skin from my foot and the abrasiveness was somewhat expected but very inaffective.

I have looked at ped products for seveal years but never bought one. Glad I chose this. It is so easy to use, smooths without rough edges and the emery pad for final finish is simply great. My feet thank you.

The results are not impressive. The worst part for me was trying to open it to clean the insides. When I finally managed to open it, the shaved dust flew all over the bathroom ... really awful experience.

Before first use, attach smoothing pad to bottom of outside cover.
Hold Dr. Scholl's For Her Smooth my Sole micro file in either hand and use gentle pressure moving back and forth to remove dry, rough skin. Stop use immediately if skin becomes irritated or if any pain is felt.
Use smoothing pad to buff and finish. Replace pads as needed.
Empty skin shavings into the trash and wash micro file with hot soapy water after every use. Dry thorough;y before storage.
