Initially the "Messaging Insoles" were placed into a pair of skate shoes that are my daily use shoe. Instantly I felt pain relief. It seems like the insole filled a void in my shoe that wasn't present before. For a couple days I walked around and the sharp pains that usually accompanied my regular stride disappeared. What appeared were fart noises. It sounds ridiculous, but every time I'd take a step a fart noise would emanate from the soles of my shoe. It was so embarrassing that the insoles are no longer in my skate shoes, but now provide daily relief in my hiking boots. This may not be a regular occurrence, and the pain relief is relatively worth the fart noises, so they are a top recommendation by me. VS Most Liked Negative Review I am a courier for FedEx ... I am always looking for a good shoe insert to cushion and support my feet. Although this particular Dr. Scholl's product provided an excellent cushion for the heal and ball area of my foot, it failed to support the arch area sufficiently. I also didn't like the absorbent top layer of this insert. The gel/rubber material seemed to make my feet sweat a great deal and this top layer didn't perform well. Working out in the cold winter air I need something that aids in wicking away the sweat of my feet and this Dr. Scholl's item did NOT do this. I normally use an insert constructed of a wicking agent, like wool. I would not recommend this product for outdoor construction workers, postal workers, etc. My feet were frozen the last few days using this item. I am on my feet all day and with these gel insoles my feet (and especially the heel area) are cushioned. I don't even think about my feet during the day because the insoles are comfortable! I've had custom orthotics in the past and Dr. Scholl's are just as good, even better and certainly less costly! Pros

It is a more compact, smaller, less obvious in terms of added comfort, and effective product. It provides greater support also. Besides, it makes the shoe too small since it occupies so much space. I still wear it though. Since I put in these insoles, I haven't come home with aching feet once! I've used others before that were worthless, doing nothing but making my shoes tighter. But these are definitely worth any price! I'd recommend them (and have) to anyone.
