When it was discontinued, I tried other products, but they didn't do the job as well. I was delighted to see that it was available again in a slightly different form. I agree with other reviewers that too much pressure stops it from working, but the point is that you don't need to exert a lot of pressure. Easy does it with this product, and it's best to use it frequently but briefly each time if your skin is very calloused. It's been slowly removing the built-up callous from my very rough heels until they're almost smooth. I'd recommend it to everyone. VS Most Liked Negative Review Not worth the cost... Grab yourself a Ped Egg or simply a great hand held pedi tool; both will do you 100% more than this. 100% ineffective. Comments about Dr. Scholl's Rough Skin Remover, 1 ea: I don't normally berate items like this but don't waste your money. This item is absolutely worthless. It tells you that it limits how much pressure you can apply and will stop automatically if you apply too much pressure. You can't apply any pressure. It stops as soon as you touch your skin with it. It has no use as far as I'm concerned. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 5/4/2011 does not work Pros

Comments about Dr. Scholl's Rough Skin Remover, 1 ea: Despite the negative reviews, I found this product to work well. True, you can't "bear down" when using it, but you really don't need to. A light touch removes calluses and rough, dry patches. You just need to let the appliance do the work without pressing hard. I think it was designed for a light touch so that you don't take off seven layers of skin by mistake. All in all a good product for the price.
