I use Dramamine Less Drowsy whenever I am out on the ocean- regardless of the water conditions... because you never know. It doesn't make you drowsy; and I don't experience any other side affects. The pills are easy to take and the container is small enough to tuck away into your bag.

Going on a long trip for anyone with motion sickness is a real problem. This seems to be the ideal solution. The 1 hour before travelling is a bit of a problem, but better safe than sorry.

First, the price thru drugstore.com can't be beat, about $1 lower than W*mart. I use this product for the nausea that accompanies migraine, and it does relieve some of it. Having been carsick since I was born, my mother used to give us this product years ago, but now the 24 hour takes care of having to remember last dosing. My vet said 25 mg for my 22 pound Sheltie is fine, so I give her a half before we head out in the car, and she hasn't thrown up in the car since. My 70 pound lab gets a whole tablet and it works for her also. Makes driving much more fun. This also works for me in small boats. Just a wonderful product at a great price.

While the Dramamine did work on my motion sickness, I was still pretty sleepy as a side effect. It's been a while since I used regular Dramamine, so I can't really say how much less drowsy I feel.
