My bathroom sink has slow drainage and so the water starts to build up in the sink. I didn't consider this to be standing water which is why i bought this product and not the other Drano product that should be used with standing water. This one had better reviews as well. I'm going to now buy the other Drano product and compare the results...but this did nothing, i think it even made my issue worse for a while since the foam built up in my sink and left this gross crusted blue residue.

I think this could work for you depending on the issue you are having, as it must have worked for all the other people who wrote good reviews, but this did not work for me.

Having wasted money on Drainbo's green drain cleaner. I decided to get what works. Ordered this poured it down the drain and the drain completely cleared up. Could have saved money not buying the Drainbo.

People shed and I am no exception. My hair is extremely long and of course, when you shower, hair will fall off. It is natural. After several months of living in our new apartment, having to use the tub everyday, I noticed that it took a while for the water to go down the drain. I talked to my bf, he has worked as a plumber before and he said we should get this. So we did and all you need to do is pour it down and leave it for an hour, which he did and showed me how to do it. After 1 hour is up, turn on hot water for 30mins. Then you are good to go. Worked great! Will always have this handy for future maintenance and sinks.

It does the job well. It can be tricky to pour both liquid evenly at slow speed.

Drano unclogged what a generic brand could not. I'll only use Drano from now on and only purchasing from drugstore.com

I use this product all the time because my sink always gets clogged up from hair particles and junk. This stuff clears it up superbly.

[...]The Drano foaming clog remover is fantastic. For slow drains, the foam is clearly preferable to liquid clog removers which just seem to wash down the drain without actually resolving the problem. An entire bottle does produce foam up around the drain area, but after the directed time it will have all worked its way down; I haven't noticed any sort of damage to the tub surface after several uses. I let the Drano go for a couple hours (longer than directed), then give the tub a strong rinse with hot water and everything is good as new. :) As far as the fumes go, my bathroom has relatively poor ventilation, but with the door closed I found it easy to wait out the process in an adjacent room. After rinsing the drain, the odor faded immediately to a tolerable level, enough for me to finish cleaning the bathroom without discomfort.
