My wife was put on O2 and I wanted a meter to monitor her. I have found it very accuate compared to the doctors and started using it for myself. For my wife, I use it to show her how the way she breaths affects her O2 levels since it shows your current level and pulse. For myself I use it on my inversion table to show my condition, in real time, when inverted. Unfortunely I lost it so I'm buying another and will use the cord it comes with and will attached to something, it is small.

i've had problems with my asthma and wanted to check my oxygen levels. This device allows me to do that and also keep track of my pulse.

Needed an oximeter for personal use. It works just fine, is accurate, and best of all I definitely got it for a frugal price.

Simply wanted a pulse/ox to check client's sats during exercise but by the time it would show a reading their heart rate and oxygen levels would have had time to return to NORMAL! And, in some cases, just didn't work at all, even on my OWN finger which I like to think is a normal, healthy finger! Tried several times in different settings but results were always disappointing which means there were no results at all or were too late.
