This is a super small heating pad that has really awful ridges across the entire surface that leave the pattern dents in your skin even through to padded cover. Can only use for one hour at a time. Have to return temp and time to zero to power on. Power button sticks and requires more force than arthritic hands would ever want use. This is the worst heating pad ever created.

It was a little more complicated than I'd wished, but I was excited to get it. Unfortunately after the first use, it would not operate. I guess I just got a dud as it had very good reviews. I wished it had worked, but Drugstore.com was wonderful and I couldn't have asked for better customer service.

I love the design of this product. Unfortunately the quality isn't good. I have to depress the button several times to get it to turn on. The controller also gets very warm even when the pad is supposed to be off. Maybe I got a dud, but I don't know if I should spring to buy it again.

This pad was effective for only a few months. Then, the heating element could not be controlled. It was extremely hot on all settings ..could not be regulated. Ended up throwing it out! A very costly investment for a short time!

I bought this heating pad to use on my lower back following an injury. I love the size of the pad, the softness of the cover, and the variable time and heat settings. My only criticism is that the wrap strap is too short to fit around my waist, which is only 26". It would be fine for a leg or arm, but the write-up specifically touts its benefits for back pain, so I don't understand why a longer strap isn't supplied. I improvised my own wrap with an old ace bandage, which works fine, but for the price of this pad it should come with a more versatile wrap.

This is the best heating pad my husband & I have used. We have 3 other heating pads but they are not as good as this one. The size is just right for the lower back pain.

I ordered two of these for family members and after seeing them and testing one out, I just came back today to order one for myself! Great quality - convenient yet effective size. Perfect to lay under your shirt for your neck & back. The velcro strap makes it even easier to place if you need a heating pad to "stay put." I highly recommend this product. This is a purchase you will not regret and will come in handy more times than you realize!

This was a bit of a splurge because there are certainly cheaper moist/dry heating pads on the market, but this is best I've encountered. I enjoy it so much just for regular everday stress, that I got it for a dear frieand's elderly mother who suffers from painful arthritis in her knees, especially in the cold months. She found the pad immediatly relaxing and therapeutic. The velcro strap was very useful in securing it across her knee. Also, she likes that it shuts off automatically so she does not have to worry about any safety issuces associated with leaving it on while she dozes. This "petite" size seemed perfect for her knees, but she is a very petite woman and a larger person might benefit more from the Medium size. Useful and thoughtful gift for anyone who suffers from arthritis or muscle pain/tension.

This heating pad is in a class by itself. It is very sturdy. The cover is the best quality flannel I have seen. It heats up quickly and reaches a higher heat than many I have tried. It very effectively delivers moist heat without any effort on my part. When it shuts off you have to move the heat setting back to zero before you can turn it on again. That is not helpful to me. Sometime I need to hit the on button more than once. Other than that it is perfect.
