Chemical Name: ALUMINUM (a-LOO-mi-num) CHLORIDE
Drysol Dab-O-Matic is an antiperspirant used to treat excess perspiration problems.
INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
Follow the directions for using Drysol Dab-O-Matic provided by your doctor. Use Drysol Dab-O-Matic at bedtime. To use Drysol Dab-O-Matic, wash and completely dry the affected area. Drysol Dab-O-Matic may come with an applicator. If it does, assemble the applicator according to the directions that come with your product. Apply the medicine by stroking the applicator in a downward position against the skin or as directed by your doctor. If your medicine does not come with an applicator, carefully moisten a cotton ball with the medicine and apply to the affected area. For best results, cover the treated area with plastic wrap held in place by a close fitting shirt, mitten, sock, or as otherwise directed by your doctor. DO NOT USE TAPE to hold the covering in place. DO NOT APPLY TO BROKEN, IRRITATED SKIN or skin that has been recently shaved. Avoid contact with your eyes. Wash the treated area the next morning. Do not apply other deodorants or antiperspirants without first checking with your doctor. STORE DRYSOL DAB-O-MATIC at room temperature, away from heat and light. Do not use near an open flame. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF DRYSOL DAB-O-MATIC and you are using it regularly, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
AVOID CONTACT OF DRYSOL DAB-O-MATIC with fabrics or metals.
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include burning or prickling in treated areas. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur. DO NOT SHARE DRYSOL DAB-O-MATIC with others for whom it was not prescribed. DO NOT USE DRYSOL DAB-O-MATIC for other health conditions. KEEP DRYSOL DAB-O-MATIC out of the reach of children. IF USING DRYSOL DAB-O-MATIC FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, obtain refills before your supply runs out.
