Three of these are the same length and diameter as two AAA batteries, but provide 4.5 volts instead of 3.0. Voila! your pointer got brighter.

I could not find this size in any drugstore or any store for that matter, around my area. They seem to last long, but an odd size to have to hunt down.

I have this darling clock that goes with my Byer's Choice Doll collection and the batteries were unusual...and "the Drug store on line" had them...FABULOUS!!!!!
