This charger is great for the desk or kitchen counter. Great idea, but not quite there yet

That said, the starter kit says you can charge up to four devices at once, but comes with only one Power Clip. So you must spend additional money for each additional device you want to charge. At first glance, this looks like a great product. It is nicely designed, and I love the idea of just setting a device down and having it charge. That said, the starter kit says you can charge up to four devices at once, but comes with only one Power Clip. So you must spend additional money for each additional device you want to charge. It should at least start you off with two. Next – you must permanently attach the Power Clip and Tip to your charging port, and affix it with double stick tape. This renders the port unavailable for syncing with your computer or other devices, not to mention the inconvenience if you want to remove the double stick tape. Optionally, you can purchase a Power Sleeve, which will leave your port available. However, both charging add-ons make your phone bulkier, and now you cannot keep it handy in the holster you have been using all along. Consider next if you upgrade to another device – another purchase for a Sleeve or Clip and Tip, if they are available for your particular model. I say this is a great idea, but needs more development to be truly beneficial. I will go back to plugging the charger in manually. It is not that difficult to do.

You have to plug in the pad, put each device in a sleeve or plug in a power clip, and then place them on the pad. Is that simpler than using a regular recharger to link device and socket? Other minuses: The mat is a tight fit for four wireless devices. And to charge more than one at once, you'll need power sleeves or extra power clips with adapter tips. Each of those costs about $30.

If you decide to get this item, make sure your phone works with the charger. As best I can tell, Duracell has 2 versions and the types and models of phones that work with them is limited.
Other than that this is a great piece of equipment.

Wow what an expensive toy. We purchased this in order to charge more than one phone at a time. Only one of the clips that came in the box fit all of our phones. In order to use this like we wanted, we would have to purchase three more clips seperately. At $30 to $40 dollars a pop on top of a price tag of $70 to $120, that would make the total price of this item $160 to $240 just to charge our phones. Not worth the price when free chargers come with most phones.

my husband recieved this from me as a gift. I had no idea it would require the phone to have a sticky attachment to it, he didn't want that glue on his phone and also it requires you to make additional purchases to add more than 1 phone- "the clips"
I figured it would at least include more than 1.

Interesting product. I defintely remember to charge my phone when I walk into my house because I immediately notice the myGrid right when I get in the kitchen. And while it is a little bulky, the myGrid carves out an area on the counter strictly for cell phones. Now, every time I lose my cell phone, the first place I know to look for--and very often find--my phone is on the myGrid.

Step 1. Insert the proper tip into the device?s charging port. Press the tip into the charging port and ensure a proper fit.
Step 2. Place the Power Clip on the tip and make sure the two are seated together properly, then swivel the Power Clip over the center of the phone and press firmly into place (the adhesive backing on the Power Clip should be removed prior to installation).
Step 3. Ready to charge, place the device on to the myGrid charging pad making sure that it rests fully on the pad. The blue indicator light will appear on the myGrid charging pad when the device is being charged properly.
Installing and using a Power Sleeve™
myGrid is easy to use:
Step 1. Carefully insert your device into the Power Sleeve.
Step 2. Use your fingers to stretch the Power Sleeve over the top of the device.
Step 3. Ready to charge, place the device on to the myGrid charging pad making sure that it rests fully on the pad. The blue indicator light will appear on the myGrid charging pad when the device is being charged properly.
Safe to touch
If the system is functioning properly and there is no fault detected (i.e. keys, metal object or a hand placed on the charging pad) then the indicator light will turn off in 3-5 seconds. You are now ready to charge your myGrid-enabled devices. Simply place them on the myGrid charging pad with the contacts facing down. The blue indicator light will light up to show you that your devices are receiving power.
If a fault is detected, the indicator light will (1) not appear upon initial power up or (2) turn off during operation.
When not in use, the myGrid charging pad will be in Sleep Mode. In this mode, the charging surface and the indicator light both turn off.
