These batteries do what they say they do. They last a very long time. I've been using them for weeks in high battery drain devices, and didn't have to recharge them yet. Since they outlast my other rechargeable batteries I bought 12 more, and now its time to get rid of my other batteries I am that satisfied.

Duracell Pre-charged used to be re-branded Sanyo Eneloops, hands down the best NiMH battery (low self discharge, high current and high voltage performance). However, Duracell now also re-brand non-Eneloops, in the same packaging style. The only way to know if it is actually a re-banded Eneloop pack is to check for 'Made in Japan" and white tops surrounding the positive terminal of the batteries.

Because of this mixed source of batteries, I will not recommend Duracell pre-charged unless the price is too good to miss or you can inspect the actual goods before you buy.

My order had white top batteries made in Japan. These are supposed to be higher quality than the black top batteries made in China.

I purchased these batteries together with the 15 minute charger because I was tired of wasting money on regular batteries for my digital camera. I like that they charge quickly and hold a charge a long time. I also like the fact that it is a very "green" solution to the waste problem caused by so many portable electronic devices in use today. Even if you recycle dead batteries, this is a better alternative. The only negative point is that rechargeable batteries do not seem to be well suited for use in items that only get intermittent use such as flashlights, etc.

The NiMH, Nickel Metal Hydride is not the same as Lithium or Alkaline. It works good and saves money for low power applications like remotes, but not for a digital camera where only the Lithium has enough long lasting Juice. I got 5 photos with the digital camera from the Nimh and Nicd rechargeables. Versus 100's with Lithium rechargeable. It is 1.2 Volt, not 1.5 Volt like the Alkaline and has 2650mah. Duracell Alkaline doesn't list it's mah and they aren't strong enough for the camera either.

I use these for my sonicare toothbrush & digital camera. They last a week to ten days in my toothbrush and are longer lasting in the digital camera then any non-rechargable battery which is never spent of power, but does not have enough power to operate camera. Easy quick recharge.
