Best Uses Comments about Duro-Med 5' Telescoping Adjustable Wheelchair Ramps, 1 pr: These ramps were intended to assist in moving a chair up/down three steps. The ramps are narrow with side walls that interfere with the wheel handles as the wheel rolls up the ramp. The front wheels are impeded much the same way as the wheel fork rides up on hte sidewalls. The result is that you may be half way up the ramp and become "stuck". The is such a poor design that it is simply unsafe to use even as a back-up ramp.
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Duro-Med 5' Telescoping Adjustable Wheelchair Ramps, 1 pr: I purchased this item to help getting my mother's wheelchair down five steps on the outside of our home. First, the ramps have nothing to secure them from slipping. Second, it is hard to get the wheelchair to center properly. Next, you need two people to use the item, which isn't good because it's only me. Lastly, they are too heavy to set up everyday I need to take her out of the house. Pros
