When removed from box the wheelchair had two problems: One footrest fell apart -- the foot part had not been properly attached to the 'stem' -- but it was easy to fix. One brake was tightened to such an extent that it was impossible for me to operate. I called the manufacturer to ask advice on what to do and was given what felt like a brush-off, told it was a shipping problem and recommended I take the wheel chair to a bicycle repair shop. I took it to my local bicycle repair shop and they were able to fix the brake after much fiddling, small fee for 'brake adjust.' Neither of these problems appear to be the result of being 'bumped' during shipping, but would appear to be something to do with the manufacture. Also two clear plastic washers fell out of the box, but the manufacturer said they were nothing to do with them ...

I really like this transport chair. I use it for my parents when I need to take either of them somewhere. I don't use it daily, but it is so convenient to have such a lightweight chair when I do need to take either of them out. The main reason I got this chair was because of how light it is and how easily I can get it in and out of the car.

The safety belt is a real plus if traveling over rough surfaces.

This is the best transport wheelchair. Very lightweight and easy to use. Set-up was a breeze just put the foot-rest in the slots and you are done. Wish I would have gotten this sooner.
