I ordered this cushion as a temporary measure. I really wanted a gel cushion but couldn't afford it at the time.

I'm using it for my wheelchair. It's adequate for now. I can see already that this won't be a long-term solution as I just don't think it'll hold up over more than maybe a year or less.

A word of caution for those who might use this cushion with a person who has cognitive challenges. I've found that I have to frequently reposition the cushion or it feels like I'm off balance. I can stand a little so I don't know why it does that -- maybe I move around and it moves the pillow around. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this pillow for someone who isn't able to recognize there's a problem and communicate that problem or adjust the cushion him/herself. It might make the person feel off balance and he/she might, indeed, be off balance.
