I have been using this powder for a while now. I couldn't afford Bare Minerals anymore, so I needed an alternative. I thought this was working fine until I found some left over Bare Minerals and used it. The comparison is unmistakable. The ELF powder just doesn't cover very well. In the sunlight (or office light) you can see red spots on my cheeks from acne when I use the ELF powder. With the Bare Minerals, you barely can see it. I guess if you don't need coverage, than this powder is fine.

I also use ELF concealer and booster, so all three did not provide as much coverage as the basic Bare Minerals ID powder. I also found that I can buy a 9g jar of bare minerals online for a lot less per gram than the ELF powder, so I am most definitely switching back. I may still use the concealer and booster until I find a better price on the Bare Minerals multi-tasking powder and mineral veil. I do like other ELF products, especially the Mist & Set spray!

I'm a mineral make up user. I'm on the road to completely paraben free and looking to obtain such products at a low cost. This is the FIRST and ONLY brand of items out there that provides this.

I tried this because I love the mineral foundations and Bare Essensials is so expensive that I can't see myself spending the money on it everytime I need more make-up. So this is a very good alternative, just wish the container was LARGER and held more make-up. Make the container larger PLEASE!

I use this product every day as a base. I have used similiar Bare Minerals and Avon products with the same results at a much lower cost. I have SUPER sensitive skin and have never had a problem. I only wish that the pot that it comes in would be larger. The small size makes it hard to swirl and tap without making a small mess.

It is light and covers well without causing any breakouts. Great for the price. More expensive mineral make ups have cause me to break out.

I've used the other name brand for years and can hardly tell the difference. The price is so unbelievable, I will never pay the high ticket cost of the others again.

Do not waste your money on this product, its difficult to apply bc of its weird texture& there is nothing to this foundation, it has absolutely NO coverage whatsoever& has absolutely no benefits. I recommend loreals baremineral foundation, along with bare minerals foundation, if your looking for coverage and positive benefits!

Greatly disappointed in this product. Does not compare with Bare Minerals or Rare Minerals or even other drug store brands.
