I use this brush to apply my face mask and it works very well for a cheap brush. easy to wash and clean. i wouldn't really recommend it to apply foundation though. maybe it's just my preference

This is my first time using a foundation brush from Elf but I love how smooth the bristles are. I use it every day for my liquid foundation and it works great. The only problem I had was the fact that the head (the metal that the bristles come out of) is loose. It was also hard to take out of the clear, protective cover.

Other than that, I like it just fine.

This is a nice brush for the price. I use it to smooth out makeup, especially around the eyes. It has a nice edge for that purpose.

this brush is economic, easy to use, i really love this brush, I have Mac brushes but i really like this brush more than other brush and this brush is more economic, <3333 i recomend all ELF brushes.

This is perfect with any foundation. It's just the right size and the bristles are soft which allows you to apply your makeup smoothly. no cons here

For the price, this is a good foundation brush. I will be honest that it SOMETIMES does leave streaks in my face, but if you read the directions. It says you "For best results use upward brush strokes." Which is true. Basically you get what you paid for. I love it. My brush didn't shed so much, maybe one bristle fell out. I will reorder if it turns useless later. I like how one of the previous reviewers said that they bought another one to use as a paint brush. I am an artist myself and I can see why they said it, and I might buy another for paint as well. I think this is a awesome brush overall, but if you're expecting SO MUCH more then, this brush is not for you. I believe this is a good foundation brush for it's price.

I wasn't expecting much when I purchased this foundation brush. It's very flimsy, and I used it with liquid foundation and I had streaks all over my face. However, I have been using it to apply my green concealer prior to my foundation. It works fairly well, and I don't have to worry about ruining a brush when it turns green. I recommend that e.l.f. studio angled foundation brush over this one...

the bristles on the brush started shedding with first use and by 3rd use, most of the brush was thinned out. Maybe I have a defective brush but very cheap both in price and quality.

I don't know why some had a problem with this brush (maybe they got a lemon) but I found it to be perfect. It was firm enough to give light pressure, but soft enough to evenly spread makeup or eyeshadow. No bristles were 'scratchy' at all and none came out. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely use this on a daily basis. At 1.49 each, I really don't think you can go wrong on this one. I even bought a second one to use as an artist brush (a 10th of what an artist's brush would cost in the store!!). I bet it would make a good 'small' pastry brush too for making decorative cakes and such. I think this could be a very versatile item. PLUS I like that it is synthetic and they did not use 'icky' animal hair (yuck).

I wanted to buy a foundation brush but did not want to pay $30.00 to see if it really worked, tried this one and love it, when it wears out, I will reorder it.
