I've never owned an eyelash curler before so didn't want to splurge on an expensive one, and after trying this one I never will. I've used it almost every day for two months and it still does a good job, I've got zero complaints! It came with an extra pad thing, so I assumed that the old one would fall off because it was poor quality, but it's still going strong. I've actually gotten a bunch of compliments on how long my eyelashes look after I curl them and then throw on mascara. It really does make a difference, and you can get away with using cheaper mascara.

Tips for using:
-Curl your eyelashes twice- once before you start even doing anything to the rest of your face, and then again later right when you're about to put on mascara. This seems to make them hold the curl better
-Clamp them as close to the eyeline as possible (but be careful, getting your eyelid hurts!) for 10-20 seconds, then work your way outwards and clamp the middle or the ends of the lashes for another 10-20 seconds. Way curlier when you curl the whole lash this way!

I have used this product for 3 weeks and haven't pulled out an eyelash. It does take a little longer to curl my eyelashes because it is a very gentle squeeze, but it has been well worth it. I also like the ergonomic handle because my fingers don't slip off and pull out my eyelashes. You can't buy replacement pads, but at this price it doen't really matter.

I loved the first e.l.f. eyelash curler I got, but both the second and third I purchased CUT OFF MY EYELASHES! Now I'm waiting for section of my lashes to grow back :C

This eyelash curler was cheap and seemed to get mostly positive reviews so I bought it. How much could eyelash curlers vary? Well, I found out today. As I was curling my lashes which I have done time and again for years, the handle broke! It was as I was using it on one of my eyes so it smacked me in my face. I was shocked, a little hurt but relatively "OK" until I looked at the curler then into the mirror. It took completely off ALL OF MY LASHES from the inner corner of my eye to the middle!!!!!! I am devastated right now. Hopefully my eyelashes will grow back to their normal length and fullness. Hopefully. But now I know this: yes, there is a difference when it comes to eyelash curlers, not only in effectiveness, but build quality as well. Heed my warning, spend the extra couple of bucks and buy something better made!

I am so so disappointed that they have done away with the old version of this curler. I bought this one assuming it would be the same and it is not. The original version of this was by far the best out there!!! Bring it back!

I had read a recommendation for this product, so perhaps it works for others.... not me. It is too big for my eyes and hard to use. I don't get much curl from it. For the price it was worth a try.
