This was my first purchase of a stipple brush. I have elf's studio angled foundation brush for foundation application. I did buy the studio powder brush and also used it for foundation application. The angled foundation was definitely my go to. The powder brush was too big/wide for me. So when I saw this small stipple brush, I was very curious and read all the reviews, looked at the pictures and watched some videos about it. I decided to buy 1 and OMG I want to get more. I always wash my brushes after 1 use and let them all air dry. I am very pleased with the elf studio brush line, VERY. I do have other brushes that cost 3x or more than elf studio and they don't even perform as well. With this brush, first 3 applications with 3 different foundations (liquid & different brands. I was testing out for my HG foundation and still with no luck), my heart sank. I guess because I had such high hopes. I thought it would be better than the angled brush. When I used this for the 4th time with my older/current foundation, I figured that it wasn't the brush I was having trouble with, it was just the other 3 foundations were new to me and I wasn't used to their formulation. I 2 different brands of foundation right now, which are decent for now, but I am still looking for my HG one. I have used both brands with this brush and it makes application of this better than the angled foundation brush. Less to no streaking, but that is always fixed with a powder after. It does apply very well and does get to every side of my nose, which we all know is the hardest area to deal with. I am going to be purchasing a few more of these brushes in the future. I am so happy that elf made this with their studio line. I just love elf studio brushes!! I have probably 20 or more of the elf studio line brushes and I love them!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
