I have found this to be a great product. I first bought it for my young daughters who dance competitively. I find it difficult to apply liner on them with pencils (they say it hurts) and liquid would prove to be too difficult. I had tried another gel from another brand but saw this and the price and figured I had to give it a try. The brush is great. It's angled like a paint brush would be to paint a corner. It easily draws an amazing thin or thick line. The gel cream itself is very soft so it's easy to get enough on the brush without overdoing it. Additionally, none of my daughters even blinked when I did a quick, thin line across their eyelid. Also, it stays on great so I don't have to re-apply on them. I've suggested it to many others and the price can't be beat!

I liked it so much that I actually bought it for myself now and use it as part of my everyday routine. I have two different colors which are great. All the same positives apply!

The only negative I would say is that the handle on the brush could stand to be a bit longer. I find it just a tad short to really get a firm grip when handling sometimes.

I disagree with the other review that states that coffee is "light" brown. This is dark brown, but not black. It applies so much more smoothly than a pencil, and much easier than liquid eyeliner. Can't beat the price, either.

I like e.l.f. Studio cream eyeliner with the exception of Coffee. I don't wear black eyeliner, so I prefer a dark brown eyeliner to make my eyes stand out. This one does not do it. Coffee is light brown. I prefer e.l.f. Copper, which is really a dark brown bronze, and a very beautiful color.

I only use gel liner to tight line my top lids only. This gel eyeliner does not smudge or run. Gel eyeliners are very similar to mascara ~ They dry out quickly, and you have to keep replacing them every two to three months. That's why I stick with the cheaper brands, because it's too expensive to keep replacing them.
